Ugh, seeing Magneto hurt killed me. I see him as a very vulnerable character and that's why he's so vicious and very right about humans and mutants :(

I believe he doesn’t keep it up 100% of the time. Charles’s mind control, To disable him, In rogue absorbing his powers After the fact. They wouldn’t even have to rush anymore and can wait for gold team since she keeps the powers for a bit depending how long she holds on. This includes heading over to assist gold team as well. So the plan works but he didnt go into detail. He never told me this, I just happened to take the time to figure out how his idea could have worked Lol

Scott knows she will be okay even if she said I love You. Also they have fought Magneto MANY times before, they can hold him off, Scott knows that, he’s faced him many times before, and plenty of times Magneto has done things like what he just did and guess what? Professor, Scott, everyone survived because they can hold him off. This wasn’t anything new, the only surprising part in what Magneto did was the Wolverine part, and even then that’s because Magneto was just stabbed. Again I’m sorry you can’t see it but what Scott did was the smart play. Plain and simple. Even now they can still neutralize Magneto as soon as Gold Team wins. The only drastic thing to happen was Logan but even then, we all know he will be fine.

Seeing that and going “oh they’ll be fine in a few more minutes” is a massive leap in logic I don’t care about theorizing about Phoenix and onslaught, those aren’t things Scott would be thinking in the moment. It doesn’t change magento literally just clapped everyone the moment he was free, hoping they could beat magento is a dumb move, magento could’ve possibly killed the professor right then and there instead of slowly crushing his head and then there goes the earth along with gold team. Scott should’ve at least attempted to blast them both and the tell the professor to give gold team a few more minutes, instead he shot the least dangerous between the two and magneto returns the favor by beating basically everyone in the room

He knows how powerful she is and with more time she can not only snap Cable out of his mind control, she can also take down Bastion. But all that would mean nothing if the Prime Sentinals came back online, so he stalled for time. Magneto is the lesser of two evils in THIS particular moment. Holding him off for a little bit longer is the smarter play than neutralizing him and allowing the Prime Sentinals to come back on and would most assuredly kill all of them. I’m sorry you can’t seem to grasp that but it’s true. Scott made the right call. No one is saying that Magnetos EMP wasn’t horrible, it was, but you seem to think Scott was just going to let Magneto walk free when that wasn’t what he was doing, he fully intends to keep fighting Magneto but we just can’t neutralize him until Gold Team succeeds. I also think Jean is going to become Phoenix and if she does then it will be over for Bastion in the next ep and then we can take down Magneto immediately after, which is what I believe will happen because like RockLee I believe Onslaught is coming.

All the time in the world isn’t gonna help gold team when the whole planet is cooked Magneto once again took things too far. He should’ve been trying to stop bastion for good, instead of literally letting the planet die. There’s no way every mutant got off planet, plus think of all animal life. It’s just like his EMP, mutants were definitely on planes and ok life support when he shut down earth, I’m not letting adorkable get away with that magneto just ain’t considering the mutant life being sacrificed

He was in a lose lose situation and made a quick second decision, and in my honest opinion it had to be done. Also yes Magneto almost popped off but Scott made the judgement that they can still hold him off a little while longer, and I think he’s right. Even after what happened at the end, I still think he’s right, and he did successfully buy the Gold Team more time.

I also don't like how everyone tried to spin it like this is all because Charles gave his school to Magneto when that honestly has nothing to do with it. Magneto did try it Charles's way but then Genosha happened and he snapped, it's perfectly understandable.

I can already tell once other reactors drop their reactions it's just going to be a bunch of people hating on him, but he makes it clear why he did it, he's trying to buy Gold Team more time, before the Prime Sentinals are back online. Also love how you guys pointed out how them splitting their forces is what is hurting them right now, Magneto and Bastion are two people where you need the WHOLE team for, so splitting up and devoting half to one person and half to another just isn't going to work. Also yes Mutants will die as well if they are on the Earth when those 12 hours are up, the whole world will crash with everyone in it, Magneto's plan is to have all the mutants go live with him on the asteroid, and damn the Earth. So that's why they have to fight him as well, but I really wish they had handled Bastion first, but I get why they couldn't, they are in a time crunch.

I know xavier and magneto are both wrong and truthfully should lead the mutants together to balance each other out but if i was a mutant there is no way i would follow xavier
