Added 2024-05-08 22:22:42 +0000 UTCFor those who follow me on Twitter or Discord know i'm highly resistant to Konosuba being THAT FUNNY and I found it Overrated.....(STILL A COOL SHOW) This Season for the reasons described in the outro....I finally think its hilarious ha ha...if i get some time i will check on Season 1 and 2 again like Director did on his own....
It took 18 episodes for me really "get" Eminence in Shadow which i always hype up. and i appreciated it a lot on my second watch....
These characters are TRASH lmao...the story finds funny situations for their true nature to take the story of course in a humorous way.....or maybe...i just like Mellenium Items...ha hah...who knows.
I also am aware i was not comfortable in the beginning cuz i was mostly a Real Estate agent doing this on the side and i dunno what to tell you...i over thought everything lol... Watch the Prison School reactions...then Watch Chained Soldier.....those are 2 different people lol...
The Current me is "Free" I find this to be my truest self....while as a Realtor i had to GREATLY concern myself with public image...i thought differently, i was surrounded by older professionals all the time ha ha....and i was generally trying to fit in that Rich people...lol...anways...thats my story

Anyone who has only seen a couple dozen anime, which will most likely be shonen since ur a lame anime normie, you won't get anything the series is throwing at you. It isn't even just Japanese culture you just have to know the anime culture and everything its developed over the years.

They play with/parody commonly establised tropes and themes. That's also why fans will hype them up to you guys and you usually you are confused why they're being hyped up lol. Now that you've seen a good number of anime you'll start getting it more.

Konosuba is an example of a "turn your brain off" show, you have your serious shows like Steins;Gate and you have the mixture of the 2 like most shounen shows. It's why shows like Naruto, Bleach, One Piece, etc. are more popular, because it's in that mixture which makes it easier to follow and there's something for everyone to enjoy.

As funny as all this is, i still think the funniest (and most wholesome) moments are well ahead of us. It just gets better and better in the light novel, and i think all of the humor translates better in animation, which is a big deal as the ln was funny af.
