Yes on Dorohedoro! I completely concur.

ErgoKittyKat

Dorohedoro. Its got it all; great production (MAPPA), its unique, well written (MAL score 8.05) and just a great time. It's only 12 episodes, so not a huge commitment. However, if you find yourself craving more of the story, after 4 years since it aired, they've recently announced that s2 is in production.

ErgoKittyKat

Genndy Tartakovsky's Primal, something people have been trying to get you to react to FOR. YEARS. NOW. Hopefully we can get around to it before season 3 rolls around, I believe later this year. As we've all been saying, it's something that easily meets your listed preferences for shows to react to

The Ideal of Greed

Oh wait that aint ass I'm blind you got me lmao

Mappa Employee

I just finished finals and got back on patreon to watch some reactions and I see a pocket pus and ass lmao. What you doing lol. Anyways, Vanitas is my vote since Viral, sign of affection and insomniac aren't popular( no reactors) and Golden time and Your lie in April will always be on polls in the future they are stables. Vote for Vanitas while it is HOT

Mappa Employee

I haven't been subscribed in months I been waiting for something unique; I was surprise to see Vanitas and Viral getting attention. I think you will have the most fun with Vanitas especially since viral hit animation is shit absolute dog water poop.

Dragon DemonZeus

YES!!! After so long Vanitas is finally on the list, I put it on the list poll but it didn't make it Thank God it did this time, Plzzzzz you won't regret it. VANITAS IS PEEAAAK

League of Cancer

Vanitas

killa killa

Sorry but how does this work? Do we just pick from the list or suggest something not on the list? If we pick from the list I want Vanitas if we have to suggest something else maybe the witch and the beast

killa killa

VIRAL HIT!!!! I know I already suggested it here 3 days ago but I came back to this post once again to say that u guys have to watch it, doesn't matter if it's a duo/trio reaction, all of u will love it 1000% and the viewers as well I'm sure! Given the way u have reacted to tokyo revengers and baki, u will love this! It's pure GAAAASSSSSSS! That's all from me, adios

Julian Fernando

Viral Hit/Learn to Fight manhwa is solid but I haven't started the anime yet. I think you'll like the story; underdog streamer learns to fight.

Casper Ghost

I would like to recommend Kimi ni Todoke. The 3rd season was announced. The 2nd season was 12 years ago so it’s a classic.

Hina6035

Let’s GOOOOOoo. A sign of affection!! (But tbh i wouldn’t be mad if your guys react to your lie in april. It’s a masterpiece)

Novice lift

I'm sure you guys have spoken on this one before and I just haven't seen it yet because I'm new to the patreon but I think Kill la Kill would be a fun watch! Dorohedoro is another alltime fave of mine and not a ton of episodes, the 3d looks really good imo as well and I think it's getting a second season!

Bryan Paine

Idk what viral hit is, insomniac and sign of affection are underrated animes that never really got attention and golden time and your lie in April are classics, so let’s get some case studies of vanitas

lee ly

Thank god for Vanitas

lee ly

7th Prince is a surprisingly good show for shota bait, one of my favorite new shows this season. Re:Monster is pretty mid, but I expected that having read the manga. Different Sides of VA Radio is a really good drama, didn't expect to enjoy it so much. Whisper Me a Love Song is just cute Yuri fluff. And then Windbreaker is a decently entertaining delinquent anime. I think that's all the animated that I'm watching that you are not already.

John

2023 I think

TAC Genesis

Ikr, it's instantly l insanely entertaining

TAC Genesis

If you want from this season viral hit, yozakura family are good and for romcom how to love your elf bride is good.... But idk how well these do in YouTube tho...

Kenny

A Sign of Affection is actually really good.

kaegthegamer

Vanitas has my vote out of everything on the list thanks for the update

Waifu Miku Nakano

True, I think if they just mention that Vanitas is replacing bungo as it is similar people will be happy

Waifu Miku Nakano

“I'm Giving the Disgraced Noble Lady I Rescued a Crash Course in Naughtiness” and “An Archdemon’s Dilemma: How to Love Your Elf Bride”. Both are fantasy romcoms featuring a genius, reclusive magician gradually falling in love with a sweet lady after rescuing her.

Whitehorse49

If your a bungo fan vote for vanitas it's the closest anime too it and the only one there willing to replace it with do it for you and me

InTheNight

Just got the update Vanitas Lets Go. Any Bungo Stray Dog fan should not ccomplain anymore. This is the perfect replacement for it it gives similar vibes and it's also a romance. Thank the gods.

InTheNight

Lee, don't forget Link Click. Got to help a homie sometimes 😉 If you have time, Unwanted Undead Adventurer and The Weakest Tamer Began a Journey to Pick Up Trash are my last season recommendations. This season's surprise anime for me will be Lv2 Cheat Skills and An Archdemon's Dilemma: How to Love Your Elf Bride.

John Ng

The Pet Girl of Sakurasou and golden time for my 3 favorite team!

Hiiro Pendragon

Sign of Affection?

J Man

A sign of affection was so wholesome 😭 i really want to see your reaction to it 😭

Katelyn Koehler

Your lie in April is amazing, definitely one of my top favorites

Koel Rosanna

If we are taking the ones that got your attention, "your lie in april" i still would want you guys to watch "jellyfish cant swim in the night" tho

Edward Chireno

Viral Hit for me.

Ryuken Fujiwara

Viral Hit. I'm a big fan of the webtoon and would be interested in your reaction to the show

Nico andHades

Oh i mentioned Romcoms and i keep getting romcoms only. I see i see

Rock Lee

Lol. I am not focused on Romance lol. I dont know what these shows about. I just keep adding when i see the same shows keep being mentioned lol. I am blind as can be

Rock Lee

Golden time or Your lie in April

bblala

I recommend Golden Time I think it will be a good follow up after Toradora

Joseph Mims

Praying for it😭🙏🏽. This show gives me Bungo stray dogs vibes in weird way so if we can’t get Bungo imma need this to happen.

Drake's HotSauce

List got updated but still no vanitas is absolutely crazy especially since its a romance.

Drake's HotSauce

If not you might as well put us down like the bungo stray dog fans so we know not to suggest it

Sasuke The GOAT

You think Vanitas has a chance on the next poll since your mainly focusing on romance animes on this list Lee?

Sasuke The GOAT

Viral hit for me

Mark uson

Honestly here because of the pic. Your lie in april has my vote

TikiJoe

Your Lie in April is fantastic! Insomniacs After School is also peak. Someone down below also mentioned Vanitas, and yeah, that one's super peak

WorldWideLove2000

Golden Time is pretty peak as a romance, and everyone is of age, it's college!

Chandler Plays

A lot of people have said it already but The Case Study Of Vanitas is a must. It’s 24 episodes long and still gets good views. Someone down below actually gave the amount of views it got from a someone who recently posted the show. One of my favorites cause you get a little bit of everything in this show. Edit: To specify you a good amount of Romance, Action, Comedy, Angst, etc. It’s a very well-rounded show.

Destiney Marie

A sign of affection 👌🏻🤌🏻

Lady Lati

No problem!

Jc

Insomniacs after school is a great pick! I enjoyed every episode, and went straight to the manga right after! Top tier romance with insane chemistry, and a vibe that just perfect .

godUsoland

An Archdemon's Dilemma is a banger, freshestjoe reacting to it and he likes it, it romcom not isekai

SheerReaper

thanks for the reminder

Rock Lee

Watch Your Lie in April before Insomniacs after School. They aren't related but they both share the same vibe that people who watch both understand. A Sign of Affection is also amazing. One of the best green flags for a guy with caveats.

Edrei Z.

A sign of affection

Zach

I still say golden time, if not Insomniac After School or Jellyfish Can’t Swim at Night

Jc

Insomniac is really good. Insomniac also awesome. Both are top tiers romance and personal opinion beats out dangers for me while they were airing

Jimuel

Definitely for me Viral Hit

Kiana

Insomniacs after school is also very good though

Rusty

Your lie in april

Rusty

I would sell my kidney for a vanitas reaction I loved roshi’s, re:animated and a few lesser known reactors reaction to it. I can only imagine the chaos and fun these guys would have with the show

At this point vanitas might be the new bungo stray dogs

Sasuke The GOAT

Windragon6

your lie in april is fire

Austin

Gonna post this one again: Case Study of Vanitas. vampire anime from 2022, Youtuber Danny Motta got 144,134 views on ep1/2 and 87,210 views on ep3/4 reaction posted THIS MONTH https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ph0NNkjkPzU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I3NNYajQ1aY That said, from the top of this post, you should do "Your Lie In April" For sure

Anthony Nguyen

I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince is better then I expected tbh

Homura

If I had to suggest an anime, I'd love to see a reaction to a sign of affection. It's more wholesome than rom-com, so it might be more rom but even if you don't react you might just watch for fun.

Chewdude 02

7th prince isnt an isekai, its the same world, so its a regression anime

yair

7th prince is anything but generic dude, its got fantastic direction, great art with actual on model designs and even good comedic aspect to it, the manga is one of the better ones of this genre ive read and besides some thigh bait in the first episode its not even a regular part of the show, if anything its no stop lewding of the busty maid and other girls, so no its not bottom of the barrel, its top of the pack, theres a reason its the number 1 rated show in japan for this season, above literally everything else.

yair

I don't think spoiling the show would ruin it honestly. But also, you are right about comments being big time spoilers in reactions to that show.

Sharles Davis Kendy

"An Archdemon's Dilemma: How to Love Your Elf Bride." You want fantasy romance here ya go! new series just aired episode 6!!

Scott Tyson

Ah kk

Daaylen Watson

Everyone that has recommended Viral Hit knows what's up. Gotta love a good underdog story and seeing bullies get dealt with for viral content

Osiris Cage

gonna love to watch "The Pet Girl of Sakurasou" or "new game!", as there are few reaction out there

Faw Ikbar

really enjoyed the first 3 episodes of viral hit. i think it is right up your alley (tons of action + some bad bitches)

CrYan

Re:Monster and Unnamed Memory have been nice new Spring shows that I have enjoyed. First one is Isekai to being a goblin and the other is Prince goes get a Witch from a Tower =)

Thamor

And because people come and go I asked the same questions every now and then just so I can test today’s interest before I start something

Rock Lee

The shows you see listed were added once I read the comments. I keep reading and adding things that catch my attention Or I add things when I notice a repeated trend If I see the project as long I do not add it

Rock Lee

Are you asking from the list you provided here? Or asking about Spring 2024 anime? On your list I know you would like Golden Time as you guys are watching nowadays a lot of RomCom on anime and Kdrama.

Thamor

I believe they referenced Lelouch a few times so I believe so

Danny

Golden time

AllB

Monster Musume would be a great time.

JinxPeko

I second Case Study of Vanitas

Kuro Shishio

Have they watched code geass? I know that’s a little out of what they are talking about though. They might have already watched it, I’m not sure.

Daaylen Watson

Well, of the options that you said interested you, I personally liked Your Lie in April quite a bit, although I will still be an annoying person (sorry) and hope that you will eventually watch Madoka Magica.

Ziitania

a sign of affection

Royal Yaya

Your lie in april

FishEyes

I'm backing Your Lie in April to the death. It also seems to do well in reactions so there is that.

Sharles Davis Kendy

Do your lie in April it iconic

Jonathan Enoch

Romance, short, and popular lets do it

Waifu Miku Nakano

I'll keep it short and simple. You want views and interaction Case Studies of Vanitas.

Waifu Miku Nakano

Monster Musume would be awesome if they just wanted a good show that doesnt require too much thinking. I absolutely adore MM! I've just never suggested it because I wasnt sure if Lee and Director were degen enough for monster girls lol

tinmanpaints

A romcom show other than the ones you listed: Clannad (a top tier show) very popular classic) 2 seasons (25 ep each) so a bit longer than probably what you're looking for but if you do have the time - or ran through your other tops, a very highly recommended show. It has so much emotional rollercoaster moments and was the first show to actually made me cry A shorter show is Charlotte (13 ep) Not exactly romcom but a very nice and short show with an interesting plot. Definitely a nice watch. It has a respectable 1.6 mil followers on MAL so a decent fanbase. That puts it at #65 in popularity. Not bad for a 2015 show that is only 13 ep. It is definitely a unique experience. If you need something short, that's my recommendation.

Danny

i'm surprised you haven't reacted to The Case studies of Vanitas yet I thought it was pretty popular idk when it came out but I seen some reactors recently reacting to it.

TraeBoiPlayBoy

Your Lie in April personally. Probably the most well known among the four you listed out. Although a sign of affection has recency advantage so maybe you could capitalize on that. Never saw the show though - just heard good reviews on it. Golden time is great too but not as popular and definitely not recent either.

Danny

They reacted to My love story with Yamada :thumbs up

Ash

From this season and from what I'm watching so far I would recommend these two: (non isekai) - An Archdemon's Dilemma: How to Love Your Elf Bride - Train to the End of the World (Joe is going to start reacting to starting this week, he said it in his new YT vid) These are older but newer than Your lie in April & Golden time, only 1 season & non isekai anime I think you will enjoy a lot; - Monster Musume: Everyday Life With Monster Girls (Genres : Comedy, Ecchi, Fantasy, Romance, Harem) - Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World (Getting a new season in Summer 2024, Genres: Action, Ecchi, Fantasy, Romance) ( !! Older than others 2008-10 with 2 seasons) This is a one you would love and would be probably a good duo reaction, it's called "Sekirei". ( Genres: Action, Comedy, Ecchi; lots of action as there is a battle royal going on and lots of PLOT moments too)

SilentOne

Dorohedoro

Ash

Ya would get a kick out of Re: Monster It’s deadass Goblin Slayer but the Goblin is the main character I think it might still fall under isekai but the mere fact that it will entertain the sh💩t at of ya, especially you and director, is worth adding to the list. This is the epitome of intrusive thoughts 💭

Fanny Plasencia

I changed my mind after watching the five episodes out of An Archdemon's Dilemma: How to Love Your Elf Bride This is the one I recommend 10000000000%

Brian Carotenuto

That was mooooonths ago and the options for recording has changed since posting a few underrated animes

Rock Lee

Na. Roshi/renaimated was talking about their lack of support on season 5. So i see a painful editing and view process for me at this stage

Rock Lee

Anderson!!!

Rock Lee

The romcoms are to serve that same group consistently. But i hear ya

Rock Lee

We came in second to Toradora last time,I thought we was up next…damn😭🤣

Lord Precht

I second the 7th Time loop! 😍

SonicKing2004

+1 for Your Lie in April and Jellyfish Can’t Swim at Night

ParagonGX

thanks for letting me know - updated to remove detail. Lmk if still too much

B Mowglli

Now the romcoms on this list are rather good, but as they're technically isekis I placed them in this list separate from the other one. However, since they're not the typical iseki I hope you will still consider them. - Doctor Elise: the Royal Lady With the Lamp: this romcom is different than most as the titular heroine was iseki'd twice; first she was reverse-iseki'd following her execution, where she atoned for her sins by saving lives as one of Japan's top-notch surgeons. Then, following her death there she iseki's back to her original world at an earlier part of her life, with her knowledge and experience from both of her previous lives intact along with her determination to save as many lives as she can. Chillin' in Another World with Level 2 Super Cheat Powers: this one is like 7th Prince in how he was iseki'd into his new world from one that was not modern Japan, but otherwise the title gives you a huge clue about this romcom that potentially could be a harem. - Re:Monster: this one is kinda like Reincarnated as a Slime crossbred with Goblin Slayer, except the place the MC iseki'd from isn't the typical Japan. - The Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic: this romcom is different than the typical iseki in how it's the MC's friends who are actually summoned to another world and he just accidentally got brought there by that same spell. - Tales of Wedding Rings: this harem romcom isn't exactly a iseki but it has elements of one as the MC falls in love with his childhood friend, who's actually a princess who traveled to Japan from another world, and he follows her back to her world and marries her, becoming the prophesized Ring King who has to marry and gain the powers of 4 other princesses in order to save their world from an evil that threatens it. And, as a special bonus: - Villainess Level 99: I May Be the Hidden Boss But I'm Not the Demon Lord: this romcom iseki has a young office worker drawn into the world of her favorite otome RPG in the role of its secret boss (think Ruby Weapon from Final Fantasy VII.) While trying to lay low to avoid the grim fate her character would have originally met by a player who found their way there, her gamer instincts cause her to grind until she unintentionally reaches the maximum of level 99, causing her to stand out and draw more unwelcome attention than her character originally had in the game. - Fluffy Paradise: while not a romcom (yet at least) this adorable iseki features a young office worker who, upon her death, is reincarnated by a god in another world as a noble and given by that god the unenviable task of judging whether or not the humans of that world deserve to be wiped or not. In exchange she's gifted the ability to befriend any non-human species. Even if you're not ready to react to any of these series now, hopefully you consider doing one on them in the future.

SonicKing2004

I'm rewatching Amagi Brilliant Park. It's made by the same people who did Love Chuni (and has a character that is recognizable to any one who has seen Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu). It's not Isekai and I think you'd like it. Comedy with light romance and mystery. Only 12 episodes.

R'ja Norr

Your lie in april is a masterpiece.

I recommend Hellsing Ultimate the art style is really good and the action is also amazing.

If you guys really want a romance Vanitas definitely counts though

lee ly

Too many generic romcoms lately I rather you guys take a break and watch a somehting different for a few weeks to reset how about 7th loop, Case of Vanitas or ishura.

lee ly

A sign of affection is a great romance and Your lie in april has some great music for those that enjoy piano

Roronoa Zoro

A sign of affection is a recent one and then Say I love you, Little Monster, Golden Time, your lie in April, Lovely Complex, Wotakoi: love is hard, Maid Sama, Snow White with the red hair are some older romcoms I've watched and enjoyed. Oh and quirky ones are Koikimo or first love monster.

Kenise Harvey

7th Time Loop: The Villainess Enjoys a Carefree Life Married to Her Worst Enemy this is actually really good and I am awaiting a 2nd season. I had butterflies watching some scenes here its really good I hope you react to this one.

Nixxo

Poor BSD :c do you plan to catch up on it before the new season to ride the next wave?? If BSD is out the closest thing to it that is less than 24eps is The case studies of Vanitas. Pretty sure that will satisfy us BSD fans and romance fans.

InTheNight

You've had Oregairu on the "Anime Classics to React to Next" for ages now, What are you saving the best romance/drama for? Break in case of channel dying? xD Your Lie in April is super fantastic. I can't remember how many episodes it has but less than 30 for sure. If you do start it, just don't read any comments, someone is bound to ruin it for you. I'm sure I'm not the only one that wants to see an unfiltered reaction. I was lucky enough to watch it without a single spoiler a few years after it had already finished and it was A+

tinmanpaints

From what I can see you want something Toradora like, pure slice of life/comedy/romance in a school setting. Vanitas is a different fantasy take on romance if you want something different.

Drake's HotSauce

Golden Time

Tito

The only other anime that I don't see that's got your attention is Vanitas other than that I like what's on the list I guess

Drake's HotSauce

The manga only finished a few years ago which feels like it was published as slow as the story's pacing. So there's still half a story to adapt.

Edrei Z.

So the 7th Prince is a good series so far, though the first episode is somewhat on the weak side (still good, though.) Also it's technically an iseki, though it's different from most of the ones you see as the MC doesn't come from Japan or even Earth. In keeping with your request I do have some non-iseki suggestions for you. - Unnamed Memory: this one is easy to overlook as its title is rather non-descriptive, but it's rather been excellent so far for a fantasy-style romcom. - Studio Apartment, Good Lighting, Angel Included: this romcom, which is potentially a harem, is rather interesting as most of those interested in the MC are mythical/supernatural beings including the titular angel. - Gods' Games We Play: this one is rather interesting as a potential romcom as it involves gods alleviating their boredom by challenging human "apostles" to televised contests with the promise of granting the wishes of those who manage to win 10 times before they lose 3 games, something no human has yet to achieve. The most promising team among them includes a young man who has gained 3 wins without a single loss, and a female former god who intends to use her wish to return to the home of the gods. - Vampire Dormitory: a homeless, unloved young woman is saved from her contemplating suicide by a young vampire and offered a place to stay at his dorm in exchange for being his thrall (i.e. someone who willingly lets him feed from them regularly). Only thing is that he thinks that she is a guy (due to her being disguised as one at the time) and his dorm is at an all guys school. - An Archdemon's Dilemma: How to Love Your Elf Bride: a powerful yet socially awkward sorcerer falls in love a first sight with an elf slave up for auction and uses his entire fortune to buy her. Only thing is that he has no idea how to talk to her and she is struggling with getting out of her disposable slave mindset. - The Banished Former Hero Lives as He Pleases: a young man, banished from his family for having weak stats and no abilities, was actually a hero in his previous life and secretly had retained his OP abilities from that life. Grandpa and Grandma Turn Young Again: the title pretty much says it all, with the titular couple adjusting to their renewed youth along with their friends and family. Now I do have some other romcoms to recommend, some as good or even better than these, but as those are in one way or another isekis I'll post them in a separate list as a response to this comment for you to review as you please.

SonicKing2004

Ancient magus' bride would be good

Jc

GOLDEN TIME my guy promise you won’t regret it + finally some college students

Zzzboy888

I would also suggest Mysterious Disappearances. It's currently airing kind of a mishmash of a horror, action, comedy with slight ecchi to it. The manga is fantastic and I don't think There are a lot of people reacting to the anime.

Jc

Charlotte

Pickle

Yup he is spoiling it. The trailers for the show are very vague and don't really give off too much information.

Jc

i'm down for goldentime, viral hit is unique it whether you and the community like it or not

SheerReaper

I think golden time could be entertaining for you guys. It’s from the same creator as toradora.

Jordan

Viral hit (anime of this season) is hella good! A bit of fighting, underdog/bullied kid rising up etc.

Julian Fernando

Yona of the Dawn or The Ancient Magus' Bride

I’d recommend archdemon conundrum Quaanzhi fashi (full-time magister) Recovery of an mmo junky Unnamed memory

Watch “A sign of affection” it was so cute!!! Also “My love story with Yamada” which is cool too!

Rock Lee

Too lazy to see what others are suggesting, but they are wrong anyways. Watch Vanitas okay? Just listen to me I’m always right we got a deal ? :) Just kidding but you should trust me

See See

I would suggest Link Click (it's a Chinese animation). It's a very underrated anime but I think the plot is really good and interesting and that you guys would enjoy it and have lots to discuss. Can't really say much about the plot without spoilers but it involves "jumping through time"

Inie

If you're looking for a romcom, Hokkaido Gals Are Super Adorable is a cute lil show.

Alex Castle

case studies of vanitas is cool

IRIGAMAGORI

For this season, probably Jellyfish Can't Swim In The Night (cute girls forming sort of an artist/mixed media team) and Train To End Of The World (girls in an absurdist post apocalyptic reality trying to find their friend). Both have been mentioned in the Discord more than a few times as quality shows (which is not necessarily indicative of views). Your already doing every show that will do #'s this season, IMO.

ADD Theater

What happened to bungo stray dogs or the other post? Anyways please watch case studies of vanitas if you want a romance

ooh Train to the End of World seems interesting, but you're kinda telling a lot of it

IRIGAMAGORI

Case studies of vanitas is action mixed with romance and comedy

Windragon6

Rom-com Recovery of an MMO junkie, it gives the same vibes as Yamada-kun to Lv999 but there adults

Brian Carotenuto

just watched the first 30 seconds and it's infinitely better than 7th prince. Actually has good directing, artstyle, & people walking in background. It was rated like 7 or 8th most popular anime discussion thread this week on Reddit, whereas 7th Prince was 14th.

B Mowglli

Bro, 7th prince is generic trash on top of creepily lewding this young boy's thighs with revealing shorts. Constant pan up shots for legs like you complained about with Girls und Panzer IIRC. It's just mildly better trash than the bottom of the barrel stuff that comes out - still leagues below anything recommendable like Slime isekai. It's worse than Solo Leveling, more fantasy, OP magic & less serious. Reddit discussion thread rankings this week in descending order: Mushoku Tensei, Dungeon Meshi, Konosuba, Kaiju #8, Spice & Wolf, Slime Isekai, Loser Ranger, Jellyfish can't swim, Train to End of World (9). Windbreaker is (15), 7th Prince is (14). Train to the End of World is anime original & pretty dope, unhinged surreal landscapes - kinda like Madoka witch dungeons. Show follows kids setting out to their friend who was in another city down the train line when the launch of 7g turned the world upside down. The first minute or so of the show gives the whole setup/intro of world change, pretty impressive animation, directing & storytelling from just that alone to hook folks. It's almost like a nicer version of Made in Abyss. Dialogue is very fast-paced and on point. Like a strong 8.5/10. Seventh Prince first two episodes were like 5/10 max.

B Mowglli

'A Condition Called Love' has a pretty interesting premise for a romance anime that I haven't really seen done before. A little difficult to explain without getting specific, but I do think it's worth your attention even if you don't cover it. 'Unnamed Memory' has been pretty fun so far. Fantasy vibe with romance thrown in. Also has my personal "best girl" of the season so far. I'll also echo 'Mission: Yozakura Family' since someone else brought it up, as it probably has a good blend of comedy and action, with a splash of romance thrown in as well. Oh, I'll also throw in "Mysterious Disappearances." If you want something different, in the more supernatural and mystery genre, I'd highly recommend giving it a look. There're plenty of other solid series (Jellyfish Can't Swim at Night comes to mind), but I don't feel like they'd be your cup of tea, at least for reaction purposes, so I won't mention them.

ProfBasara

ok bro you got me with that picture lmao, also yes to 7th prince that shit is dope and also TECHNICALLY not an isekai its a regression anime, but yeah, manga is S tier and the anime seems to be doing a good job adapting it.

yair

If you haven't already, I'd recommend Wotakoi: Love is Hard for an Otaku

Ai Yuu

You caught my attention immediately with that picture despite already knowing that i have seen that same picture a couple of times by now. Damn it lee why you pulling a fast one on us. You know most of us love us some ass n tiddies

L.C.

Infinite Ree

Golden Time or A Sign of Affection.

Zzzboy888

Have you considered reacting to some older anime? Have no roncom recommendations sadly. Persona 4 the animation (one of the few anime I know that has a better dub than sub) is sadly not talked about.

Legion9553

Yes Bungo stray dogs

kevin (btw i'm a girl)

Lol 🤣

Mitaka

7th prince is a power fantasy, but not an isekai

IRIGAMAGORI

also gotta agree with twitter on that one (dear god), 7th Prince is indeed a good story aside from a sus ep 1 + is not an isekai

IRIGAMAGORI

jellyfish can't swim at night. its by the studio that made Oshi No Ko about content creators trying to make music videos. It's part Oshi no Ko, Part Bocchi The Rock, part Call of the Night

gg78cc

TONIKAWA: Over The Moon For You is pretty good

Zkstur

I don’t know if you have done it on patreon since I’m fairly new to the patreon side of the channel but Bungou stray dogs and Assassination Classroom are both bangers. BSD is the best new gen anime imo

Asher Ealey

some other romcoms worth investing time into that have more mature story lines: The Pet Girl of Sakurasou (by the same author as BGS), My Little Monster(controversial comedy), Say I Love You, and From Me To You(just dropped it's second season)

Mochi

I recommend the movie Josee the Tiger and the Fish

Asher Ealey

YOUR LIE IN APRIL!!!!!! I also highly recommend Re: Life for y’all super underrated but I think y’all will really like it.

Asher Ealey

I would recommend -An Archdemon's Dilemma: How to Love Your Elf Bride, it’s such a wholesome and fun romance -Yozakura family is also a great anime airing at the moment with fun moments. It has a romance aspect to it as well -Viral hit is a fun anime airing at the moment about fighting and YouTube -maybe you give 7th prince a chance since it has great animation and a fun show. Its fantasy not isekai

Coolyo8901

I recommend: Archdemon's Dilemma: How to Love Your Elf Bride (romcom + fantasy) Mission Yozakura Family (romcom + action) A Sign of Affection (romance)

IRIGAMAGORI

maybe Kimi in Todoke? Netflix is animating the rest of it this year I think. It’s kind of super chill tho but I feel like y’all might like the emotional aspect

Melissa

I was going to suggest "the wrong way to use healing magic", but no isekai's so instead: 1) "sleepy princess in the demon king's castle" - comedy, MC (princess) is actually killing people in a very comedic way that is both dark and funny, while waiting to be 'rescued' by the hero. 2) "Uzaki-chan wants to hang out" - romance/comedy, set in modern times college student Uzaki hangs out with her loner Senpai, found it to be funny and could only be envious of how lucky senpai is to have such a 'caring' kohai. 3) "Black Lagoon" - action/dark, set in times in one of the most corrupt cities in the world, a very good dub like "Cowboy Bebop", "Samurai Champloo", and "Yuyu Hakusho". MC tries to be morally grey but he'll be taking jobs or put in situations that will test his morals. I believe Lee will appreciate female lead.

paladar blade

this is really good

I'm a woman so I have a particular bias for josei stories but I really I found it back when I watched Toradora and it's by the same writer so I really wanted to see it, and it was everything I wanted.

Mochi

studio apartment good lighting angel included

Black Hawk

ROMCOMS: GOLDEN TIME- Story with COLLEGE STUDENTS, same creator as Toradora with toxicity FRUITS BASKET- Romance Drama suspense story with supernatural elements that goes back and forth from comedy to drama in a blink of an eye and toxic moments you would enjoy (similar to My happy Marriage)

Anthony Stone

Cheesecake

i am gatekeeping jellyfish.

Mochi

More anime suggestions from this season: An Archdemon's Dilemma: How to Love Your Elf Bride - RomCom (best one IMO this season) 7th prince is an isekai power fantasy - Since you said non isekai ill tend to not recc it but its been semi alright (definitely better ones) If you want the list of isekai anime that are good/alright ill gladly also put them.

DefianceR6

Also Viral Hit and My Love Story!!

Mochi

Monogatari series, since the continuation will be this year

Reminder

Recommendation: "Jellyfish Can't Swim in the Night" It's more in the Bocchi the Rock Genre, you might enjoy it! Similar vibes to Call of the Night too. Coincidentally, "Girls Band Cry" fills the same role too, but is fully CG, but the CG is done well.

godUsoland

I recommend Viral Hit. It's not talked about enough and it's really good so far and I think y'all would love the premise of it.

Osiris Cage

I’m really surprised there’s this many Golden Time fans here, genuinely thought it was just me

ore monogatari (my love story) the story and the concept is rare in the anime world.

MO

VIRAL HIT: Based off a Manwha about fighting, similar to Wind Breaker, you might enjoy. MISSION YOZAKURA FAMILY: Also action story with RomCom moments mixed it, similar to spy x family

Anthony Stone

Right now i heard that jellyfish cant swim is really popular, is close to what bocchi the rock was and you already watched that one. Dont know if you guy would like it but ive been hearing a lot about that one in this anime season.

Edward Chireno
