This story takes place in Korea...as its also taking place in Japan.
If you have seen the anime this will still be a fresh story....you don't need to watch the anime to enjoy this. I did find some of the scenes/characters parallel the anime version...but it's a fresh perspective regardless.

2024-05-30 05:25:41 +0000 UTCagreed - and I've never watched Kdramas, steered away from em. only watched parasyte dub a couple years ago I actually cried at the 'I didn't save you' scene. Seems like they utilize a good amount of tropes, but do it well with their own spin so it's not terribly cheesy The commitment to only opening up at head seems to make the CGI and practical effects easier, also having the government's security forces be on it is refreshing like Lee said
