If you are focused on your personal opinions you may miss what i am trying to communicate with my limited Vocabulary
People often recommend shows because they say its Iconic or Nostalgic. Those dont always hit the same for a new Kdrama fan of my perspective or personality type.
I made some distinctions down below. Its not meant to make you upset. Only to understand. At the end of the day. You are the customer. So whatever the masses want is what will get done.
If i find copyright issues later on these shows. I will reconsider
Lovely Rinner - con. May people recommend it but the ONE channel that covers it doesn’t get any support. So i have a hard time justifying it. So i am currently comfortable throwing in multiple shows and preparing a vote depending on what your remarks are.
Reply 1988 Family/Coming of Age: Reply 1988 will never get old for k-drama fans. It has so many life lessons and, it was through that show that I realized so much about family.

Historical: Definitely Under the Queen's Umbrella, the political tension and everything is really intriguing.
Mr. Queen is also one that's really funny!

I would also recommend mouse which is about 2 serial killers. And I hear lovely runner is good. I’ll start it soon. Y’all should react to some Korean movies. I didn’t like happiness that much but I saw it has good reviews so you might enjoy it

2024-04-30 08:11:34 +0000 UTC'The world of the married" drama about family, cheating, revenge, can raise lots of interesting discussion "Descendants of the sun" a classic, one of my favourite kdrama to this day Wouldn't recommend Mr.Queen tbh I personally found the drama trying to hard to be comical that it underwhelms the more serious plot, dropped after 5-6 eps "Under the Queen's umbrella" great story, made me cry multiple times "Reply 1988" another classic, more slice of life-ish but very enjoyable same with Our Beloved Summer

Didnt think I will like it at first but it def got me hooked. Its kinda on a darker side and heavy on the emotion/psychology-ish but I highly highly recommend

I actually think Mouse is better than strangers from hell but it's way longer with so many twists and you might get burnt out. I had to take a break ater ep 10 or a week and treat ep 11-20 as if its season 2. These are good options UNLESS yall dont like thrillers/crime. Based on your tastes I would recommend itaewon class. The good bad mother is good as well

I couldn’t put my finger on the why. I do wanna add. I try and make people feel as comfortable communicating with me as possible as long as they are not condescending. But if you're looking for a show that would pull in views, I think True Beauty, 2521, and Our Beloved Summer would do so based on what I've seen. True Beauty has that funny, kinda cringey but fun high school vibe, 2521 is a good coming-of-age story mixed with comedy and drama, and Our Beloved Summer for me was a slow burner so I dropped it but ik a lot of people like it. Overall it's whatever u guys are most interested in and want to check out!

In my opinion, the show is purely romcom and so you can expect a lot of cliché moments as in a lot and it's like a webtoony type of thing. I love the main girl but i just don't like her acting in this show tho i like her so much in extraordinary u. I somehow find the drama too common and boring, sorry. If i have to choose so for you to know, twinkling watermelon is better, sorry for comparing. Another show i didn't finished is Our beloved summer, i didn't even finished ep 1 idk some says it's a slow phase drama which i agree. Out of those options you have, MR. QUEEN is the best option for you guys i swear.

Well-written script, beautiful ost and cinematography. The same director from Goblin and Flower of Evil so expect the amazing shots and well-directed. About popularity, it's on the top of all OTT platforms now. And importantly, it's only 1-hour long episode with a satisfying pace, so not a single dull moment in this drama so far.

It’s a good mix of drama and comedy, just enough to be entertaining, but not too dramatic and wistfully like Goblin imo. That gets my vote anyway! Although the way you guys react to dramas on here I’m happy with anything on the list.

So if some channels doesn't get any support, not always is because the drama is not famous enough. I think it would be interesting watching you react to reply 1988. One of my all-time favorites. My second pick for you all is What’s Wrong with Sec Kim. Given how much you enjoyed Business Proposal I feel that you would appreciate the heart and humor at the center of this one. I still enjoy re-watching it. The main and supporting cast are also top notch.

The thing is, i consider something viral if something i don't watch keeps getting recommended to me and i see a lot of people even non-kdrama fans comment on it and it has lot of views. So far, that's not the thing with lovely runner. I see people talk about it on twitter and they are mostly already the fans and on yt i only saw one clip of it and also one on facebook and it's the same clip. It's also a ridiculous clip, you know that hiding behind a pole(?).

I’m not sure if you guys really consider the amount of support/views a drama gets from the Korean yt community side (since your channel is more global), but their reaction vids are doing really well. I think the highest views I seen with one youtuber was around 200K views (charlesenter). Then another youtuber (duhui) had almost 50K on their first reaction video. Nevertheless, I can definitely see the hype is there for both domestically and internationally.

Not to mention the storyline, characters, twist and narration of the plot being top tier in case of romcoms

Lot of people that like this drama can relate because they are kpop fans, like they want to be like her etc. Also, the ML is very popular because of his previous projects where he's a Second Lead or he dies so people are hyping him up now that he's a main lead.

But our beloved summer and while we were sleeping are ones ill never let go of. 2521 too, but I felt so bittersweet at the end, that every time i watch reaction videos I end up giving up right before the end. These reactors dont know what they're missing by not watching such a great show. Im sure it will generate a lot of views because all the actors in it are top tier list Korean actors. The female lead from Itaewon class is in it. Its queen of tears basically but for normal people lmaooo. No big mansion , no designers clothes , just normal people with normal problems. But the emotions in it are next level. The comedy is really subtle and refreshing. And I felt as if I was watching a documentary, that's how real it felt. Please give the show a chance!!

A lot of people like this but i'm not sure if they are still willing to watch reaction to it now after the divorce of the leads, i just know that their fans are still fighting to this day. Happiness - i don't have much to say. I watched it and enjoyed but... Let's just leave it at that. I don't want to spoil lol. I just know that some channels reacted to this and wasn't able to put it on yt because of copyright. Beyond Evil - very popular drama when it was airing! I liked it a lot but i like a less popular drama more (INSIDER) that aired at the same time. It's worth watching! but i don't think it'll do so well with views.. Out of all this, i feel like it's better to go with Mr. Queen, Our beloved summer or Reply 1988 My personal picks (they are good and also popular): My Mister, Scarlet Heart, Mr. Sunshine, My Dearest, Prison Playbook.

I see a lot of people recommend it and talk about it on twitter but if you're not into teen romance and not really into the fangirling thing i feel like you wouldn't like it. I don't see a lot of clips of it going viral as well so i feel like it doesn't have much iconic scenes and not a lot of people are gonna spend time watching reactions to it. Reply 1988 - this one is timeles. So much viral clips until now. I feel like once people find out you are reacting to it you will pull in a lot of views even korean viewers. Mr. Queen - a fun isekai (?) historical drama. I really enjoyed this and a lot of people did too (i think you would too. I think it's well written except—just something lol. Still worth watching. I just don't know if all of the people who loved it are still willing to watch it now after the controversy of the male lead. Our Beloved Summer - Well written and very popular till now. I watched reactions to this before and they have good view counts and some don't even post regularly. Saw that a lot of koreans left comments on the reactions to this. I feel like it would still get a lot of views now. 2521 - i like it. Then i didn't. It just got so much potential and it got wasted. It's not bad. The story was well developed, even with the supporting characters and the constant shift between in the chronology was well maintained. This show combines many elements such as romance, drama with comedy but above all a coming-of-age story. Kim Tae Ri (FL in Revenant) was amazing as the main lead, very strong female lead. Highly recommended.

2024-04-29 17:46:14 +0000 UTCOk so I will just say what shows I would love for you all to watch next ,from the names you put out here as a respect to your choices . 2521 or our beloved summer , these are the two kdramas I love and hold dearly to my heart as picky person and who is no more intrigued by new kdramas . 2521 shows realistic side of life ,its even more like a japanese drama with better pacing and story telling, it has sports, friendship, real life struggles and is somewhat gives anime vibes . Second our beloved summer , it has 2 main leads you all know ,one from parasite and other from witch , the male lead is also in with tho 🤔 the bad guy , I hope you know . The story buildup is nice, its funny which would be great after all the trauma and sadness in queen of tears . It has enough of both comedy and romance , the episodes don't feel dragged out and I just wanna see you all react to a simple life drama after all the complicated dramas you all watched 😊 , just people trying to grow, live and find love . The casts are exceptional in acting so ofc it won't disappoint in acting criteria ofc , this is my appeal for these two dramas . Lastly I loved Mr. Queen ,it was funny as hell but the ending was disappointing and some things didn't make sense , actually I was spoiled the ending so I left halfway for it to not ruin my experience with the drama and hot take here but with strangers of hell , it was nice but it's a little over hyped .

Two people who were in a documentary when they were in high school end up back in front of the camera again when the show goes viral years later. The dynamic between the two is very interesting and I actually found that it didn't follow the typical romcom tropes. WWWSK is a favorite also on the romantic comedy front.

I would better describe it as a show about relationships (parent-child, friends, rivals, coaches, lovers). Also a pretty big focus on sports which creates those anticipating moments and building up suspense. At the end of the day, I’ll probably watch whatever with you guys, but would love to see your thoughts on 2521 in the near future.

These are intriguing shows but the only I've repeatedly gone back to is Mr Queen...I think you guys would enjoy it based on other shows and anime that you enjoy. I've only seen 2 channels react to it, debuting ep 1 at 72k views (15k subscribers) and 38k views (2k subscribers) but they weren't consistent in posting and views did dip. I think it would do well on your channel. However, it is a longer drama than some of so I wouldn't agree on this being right after QoT

I think it depends on the quality of reactions as well...you guys present so many diverse opinions about all kind shows, plots and characters so it'll surely won't be the same

My personal favorite out of the three is Happiness. How the two main leads get together is pretty unique, and they're both weirdos. Interesting social commentary as well. Also zombies. Descendents of the Sun is a classic, and the relationships are more realistic than most other kdramas, but still very entertaining. Though I must say, the following is strong but the show is pretty old. Mr. Queen is good, and it's funny, but out of the three it is my least favorite. As a person that started their k-drama journey with historical dramas it was a bit of a disappointment, but only because of the comparison.

I've seen like 2 channels cover it and the views are good too. Reply 1988- has that nostalgia factor for many kdrama fans. I've seen like one reaction channel cover it and it's doing pretty good. Lovely runner- on-going drama so it has hype but not on the level of QOT. True Beauty & 25 21- I can agree that it might draw pretty good views to an extent but not so sure. (saying this cuz a lot of kdrama fans like it but I didn't see reactions get support) descendants of the sun also a classic with the glory female lead

The writing is really good, the acting is phenomenal (there are some familiar faces for y‘all) the cinematography is also great. In a way it’s a very comforting drama but also a very emotional one. It really gets you in the feels and it‘s nostalgic because you get reminded of your own high school days. Or maybe the kind of high school days you wish you would’ve had. Would highly recommend that one, I think it’s a must watch! As for True beauty, that one is a personal favorite of mine and it was extremely popular. But it‘s not a drama I would praise for it‘s writing or anything of the sort, the only thing I think is really on point is the casting. It’s just a show that‘s fun to watch and not to be taken very seriously. Vibes are similar to Business proposal but the theme is different. And there‘s a huge debate around it that still has people arguing to this day, almost 4 years later. I‘d be very curious what y‘alls take on that would be. Those are the 2 I‘d love to see y‘all react to.

It deals with regrets, it has moments of comedy, it has jealousy and a bit of toxicity. It would make for great reactions and discussions just like queen of tears. Great story. Second show I think you’re missing out on is: WHAT’S WRONG WITH SECRETARY KIM - it’s modern, no nostalgia and funny with the beautiful actress from marry my husband. She steals the show.

It's been a while since I've seen it but definitely wouldn't mind watching it again. It's an interesting mix of genres. Also, funny timing as I'm about to start watching Lovely Runner and Reply 1988 :D
