This show has had me in an emotional chokehold for the past 6 weekends. This is why the show's rating has already passed Goblin and coming for Crash Landing On You's number 1 spot. I can't say this enough, titling a series "The Queen of Tears" and scripting an FL with no emotional intelligence, empathy, or rationality; yet, would somehow come to bring everyone to tears is genius. Every character that has cried has done an amazing job of making it look sincere, heartfelt, and real (excluding the fake tears from the husband early on). The way that brother cries for his baby and wife pulls me in every time. Poor Hae-In. Imagine all the little lessons that gave you discernment suddenly failing you (e.g. seeing is believing). Imagine your brain betraying you into believing it's healthy and you are still in control. Her face when she realized it was not her husband tore me up. You can see every thought that was going through her head. None of which was about her but all about her husband. How hurt he must feel that she could not recognize him? How her illness has put her in danger and he has once again come to her rescue. Where a normal person would have immediately jumped out of the car upon realizing that was not their husband; she remains still while searching for understanding amid confusion. Probably telling herself, "What can I say to make this right?" "How can I face him?" as her husband stands there hurting for her and wanting to tell her it's okay. Dementia is cruel and I would not wish this on my worst enemy. Interesting Fact: I became aware of the app and other dementia stimulators when my dad was diagnosed. To help family members better understand what their loved one with dementia faces day-to-day, Facebook partnered with an app called FaceDimentia. You download the app and then connect it to your Facebook. The app then infiltrates your Facebook profile making family and friends unrecognizable. Also, your timeline posts and events slowly disappear making your once-normal Facebook experience confusing and distorted. Once you remove the app, your Facebook returns to normal with all information intact.

2024-04-27 08:34:57 +0000 UTCWould it surprise you if I said you were not alone? He is indeed a yandere, and I picked up on that early on. I had a love/hate relationship with his character as well. It didn't hurt that he is easy on the eyes either lol. My love/hate slowly began to dissipate as I learned most of the events I used to justify my love/hate were not him; but rather, her husband (e.g. saving her life). Adversely, he has been doing things that could bring harm to her and that is where I drew the line. Yandere's (Joe from YOU) may behave in a manner that could indirectly negatively impact their love obsession but I don't believe they can justify becoming a violator/rescuer. He is calculating and completely aware that she could face physical harm but he does not care. Sigh...My beautiful love/hate had to end lol.
