This one made my stomach turn. I think the first time I saw this episode was months ago. I must’ve not been paying attention because I really didn’t realize what happen. Sometimes I watch shows and have them on in the background while I’m doing laundry or playing games. But because I’m so tune in to yawls commentary, and your takes noticing things, I never noticed before even on shows, I pay attention to it made me think of how the charismatic main character Franklin is almost in a parallel to the Hispanic wrestler of situation of one another
One wants to be in something he is not Capable of doing yet
one doesn’t want to be in something that he is capable of doing.
And it really was singing parallels when I noticed both of them had a gay scene and I don’t mean to say that in any derogatory way, but just that they both had to come face-to-face with that in a certain situation
This episode was very hard to watch, and I realized how little I paid attention the first time I think I only watched like the first season and I completely forgot about it

Disclaimer..This is my opinion, and it's based off my observation of Teddy's character thus far. I forgot the disclaimer in my first post. LOL Teddy looks at his Boss with disdain in his eyes; not because he is incompetent; rather, it's a look of how dare you pretend to have an aptitude above me. How dare you lie to me. Like who TF are you? He looked at their former connect, the drug dealer that OD'd with disgust wrapped in envy. This is why after the drug dealer died and he had to clean up the mess, he went out on the roof to vent his frustration like FML. Then he proceeded to live in the man's house. He works with all underrepresented minorities where he is subordinate to them but he talks to them like they are beneath him and he is the decision maker. What subordinate do you know does this? Now don't get me wrong, I like Teddy simply because he is a rebel without a cause. I understand his frustration and his feelings are valid as it relates to his boss' incompetency, however, his view of his boss, the drug dealers, and all those he has to work with is dangerous. His oppositional defiance in the field can cost lives.

You gotta explain to Teddy aspects.
What specific moments try you to those conclusions.
I didn’t have those kinds of thoughts regarding him

Carvel is a head busta. I immediately expected all possible outcomes when he went with them by himself. He was going to get that money by any means necessary. Franklin is observant, blunt, strategic, and rational. Yet in this new street environment he is struggling with his internal humanity. He thinks before he acts; however, he is quickly finding out that too much thinking comes with dire consequences. Franklin is considered the suburbs and his friend is the projects. Both are hood environments just two very different outlooks on life. His friend is that friend you call when you want something done. He didn't want to call on his friend because he knew he would not have control of the situation from that point forward but he had no choice. Teddy is completely frustrated with being the errand boy who cleans up behind his stupid boss and drug dealers. He is strategic and rational. He is broke but exudes arrogance with white privilege. He is also constantly questioning his life as he contributes to the drug dealers living their best life while he works but struggles financially. He has racist tendencies and is stuck in a job where he should have power; yet, he has none. On top of that he is subordinate to people he feels is beneath him. Whew chile. This show is so good,
