They also worked together in the popular romance kdrama Descendants of the Sun, but he was the male lead and she was the second female lead so this is basically their 3rd reunion. Vincenzo put an emphasis on the "irreconcilable difference" part because he married his female lead in Descendants of the Sun (The Glory main actress) and got a divorce after 2 years for the same reason.

That doesn’t seem like “love”. Also, that flashback where he saved her from the dog? The hate and contempt he has towards his Mother (and how she payed attention to Hae-in instead of him) is surely more intense than the care (cause I won’t call it love) he has towards Hae-in. I don't think he loves her.
