True greatness, and mostly a true story. Franklin is a renamed Freeway Rick. While I grew up in LA and mostly around Inglewood where my dad work, I got to see the aftermath of all of this. It sucks that the CIA would actually fund their war efforts by drugging up a community

This show is not for everyone...meaning, the writing style will not go into detail about many things. Don’t try to connect everything because everything is not connected. You will have many questions but never get the answer. This is because John Singleton wrote the script from the perspective of being on the streets. With that street life, you either get it or you don't; you either know or you don’t know. If you don't know then context clues will be your best option. If you want to enjoy this show, I recommend blocking all words associated with the show on your social media (i.e. Snowfall S1 and all seasons, Franklin, Teddy, Jerome, etc.) Social media is saturated with spoilers, and now that you are watching it, your social media feed will be inundated with it. You know everything is connected lol. FYI that was the Sunt's gun, not Franklin's.
