And Hae-in’s brother surely died because of a planned scheme or something because Adorkable was right; it doesn’t make sense he saved her sister when he clearly knows how to swim… “Died mysteriously”, yeah right! The Mistress, the matchmaker, the wife and the asshole are really good, I’ll give them that. But I’m so glad Hyun-woo left the car in front of the data recovery business with the dash camera filming everything! I’m excited. But dark times are coming because I feel like Auntie (and the brother that is not part of the family) will support Hyun-woo for sure, at least because so many things are being done to dethrone the Queens family.

I really like him--he and auntie are the only two in the family that seem to be decent human beings. I even feel bad for the ditsy son. He's selfish, but he's a sweet husband. Poor guy didn't deserve to get tricked by his wife like that. I'm gonna hate to see his heart get broken.

The biggest twist for me was ep 8 its heart wrenching all long but The end of that episode is GOLD COMEDY. Ive been watching k drama since 2016 ive never been felt this happy and vindicated

He could sabotage her treatment to keep his metrics high. In the world of research, results are everything. Equally as important are the research subjects. If he takes on subjects whose cancer appears terminal; yet, unbenounced to the public, they have already found a way to treat it, then the success rate will always be high. A high yield brings in more grants, private funding, and endowments. Hae-In would be an unknown variable. On top of that, she is a part of an influential family. Treating her could put his research under the microscope. He wants no part of that but he would love to take her money. SMH

2024-04-18 04:32:49 +0000 UTCThere is one thing about this show that keeps bothering me. Why in the heck has he not purchased her a stylish bracelet, watch, or necklace with a tracker in it. It's clear she is terminal and her tumor has her hallucinating to the point of wandering off. She is literally in danger whenever she is alone. Getting her a tracker seems to be an obvious solution. This whole divorce is completely exaggerated and in my opinion cheapened the storyline. I would feel completely different if he actually petitioned for divorce and they found the divorce petition ready to be served to her. This is not the case. That document is simply a divorce settlement agreement that he typed up to amicably mediate the distribution of assets before filing for a divorce. It didn’t even have a date on it so they don’t know when the document was even created. It’s not a divorce petition so there was no need to tell her he was considering divorce because he changed his mind. Telling her about a previous divorce consideration in her vulnerable state could be detrimental to her health. They are taking a divorce settlement agreement document he typed up and treating it as if he has made full preparations to divorce her. This is ludicrous. Considering how he has been treated, he has every right to think about wanting to leave this toxic family. The family seeing that document and responding the way they did only validates the control they believe they have over him. As if to say, “How dare he consider walking away from us.” The shock and awe they feel is disbelief that he would ever consider leaving their family. Not to mention the methods they used to obtain the document. They broke into his private safe which is illegal. For someone who had protected that family since becoming a part of it, they wasted no time passing judgment on him. I can give Hae-In’s response to seeing the document a pass because, to her, it completely went against all the love and support he has been showing her. It gave validity to why she thought so hard about being open and vulnerable with him. His not being able to respond shows how completely heartbroken he felt for her. You can see his eyes searching for something to say, but his heart telling him, nothing you can say to remedy what she is feeling. Simply put “It Was At This Moment He Knew He Fu**ed Up.”

So it consider fraud on Haein. i missed out on that part. The husband does the job well. as expected from the lawyer lol. I like his character background actually match well with how he act and proactive to dig deeper and work in the background with all the suspicious acts
