I was just catching up with this, but I didn't realize you put up different subtitles for us on screen than the ones you actually react to. Edit: Oh wait, I just started the next episode and it's normal again, maybe this was a one-off.

Also the fight goes hard in English dub too and honestly I think the word choice is a little clearer too. "If I asked him to he'd sacrifice EVERYTHING for me! He'd leave EVERYTHING behind for me!!" She loves him but she knows he'd throw it all away for her, his hopes, his dreams, all of it.

I see Lee is confused around the middle of the episode at how straightforward his problems were, whereas we see at the end of the episode that was kind of the point. The confession at the assembly in front of the whole freaking school is absolutely bonkers for Japan lmao. Director made a very astute observation that Ami and Minori never really talk. When you know what to watch for the details are crazy.
