2024-04-16 09:36:09 +0000 UTCAfter this episode I now understand why Ochiba the Mother of the heir is so angry and afraid of Toranaga and he seems to know this. From what I can tell from the words he said this episode he knew his son would attack the uncle and die in that fight one way or another which would buy him time and he knew that if he put on a face of defeat long enough his friend would commit Seppuku to make everyone believe he surrendered. He be making plans based on what people will do without him having to tell them or force them. At this point I am starting to think he did kill Ochiba's dad not with his own hands but with one of his plans he be an Evil Genius but he is the good side but he is also ruthless and brutal. That old courtesan from last episode knew he was not stupid and that he had a plan. Great reaction.
