I love that Oda just decided to have him use Gear Fifth because it was super popular and fun. This whole fight was pure fan service and I am here for it.

But you can see he's nowhere near Luffy's level. He hasn't landed a single hit on Luffy! Lucci better learn his place, it's not Water 7 no more :) Now, I'd like to see Rob Lucci vs. Queen or Jack. That would be a crazy Fight!

Very true we see reaction depending on hype and lore heavy episodes that’s the main gripe with one piece, sometimes there’s a LOT of fluff in the anime. The schedule you have with one piece is fine. 2024-04-11 23:58:42 +0000 UTClmao thats fair but its funny, i know my take is unpopular...i feel that way cuz i find this fight pretty hype and i love the effort into the transformations...hehehe...I didnt care for Gear 5 till today...I was hoping for Gear 2...i loved that, and i happen to like Snake man the most.... I think this animation style does Gear 5 more justice and the fight wasn't too over the top IMO IMO...we shall see..its just one episode...but its good. very good.
