2024-04-04 23:50:17 +0000 UTCHaha yeah i can see that since your shows' schedule tend to be similar in a pretty short time frame, even though last time i checked you seem to be nowadays putting your reactions ahead of them, faster and the volume is also clearly more important (which would indeed be ground for the easiest poaching i have ever seen :D). RTTV ain't for me, tried to watch them but how they're reacting and editing for Youtube make me think they're targeting a way younger audience than i am.

2024-04-04 23:27:47 +0000 UTCWelp, that's too bad about Fate, just the quality of the OST and the animation, especially the 3 Heaven's Feels movies, is to this date the best animation i have ever seen. Yeah, i mean, after watching so many reactions over the years, i would say i can definitely understand a bit of your inner workings and differences, even though i must say as i am writing this, it's a strange feeling to kinda know someone and yet not know him at all because i see you only in this reaction setup while you have no idea who's watching. Damn, is that how it feels to be a peeping Tom (not sure if it's the good english term lol) ? To conclude because it does become an essay pretty fast, if you want a lot of new patreons, i believe all you have to do is to make your channel known to the YaboyRoshi's patreons and i'm confident a lot of them would switch over to you, but it depends to which height you want to go and at what cost; not everyone can become a backstabbing pretty motherfucker like Aizen :)

Its a semi blind experience. Director also processes information way faster too and recalls the previous set up. His eyes and Brain just capture a total picture fast. While reading. I Dont do well at recalling a previous point. But i do on things i hear. So end discussions help. I donโt remember what i read. I remember what i hear and how i felt. Thats also why i talk more to people that comment like this over essays about the show. I will always remember this because i read it at my pace, was engaged, and there is feelings reading that i relate to.

2024-04-04 22:43:00 +0000 UTCDamn, i forgot the most obvious complain i had and it is a terrible one : Fate is the only fucking show you ain't covering and it's probably my go-to choice in anime to get friends who aren't into anime at all to begin their journey and i have a 100% success rate. (I know it's the copyright, but i have hope that you will react to it on patreon exclusively in some year because the stock of obvious and well-known anime to choose from is getting smaller hรฉhรฉhรฉhรฉ)

I have to say that i watched them probably for 2 years before i found your channel (i'm not even subbed there anymore) and your group dynamic and discussion are way more interesting as you are now than them (personal opinion obviously but apart from Roshi, most of the time they look that they don't even wanna be there anymore or their reaction ain't interesting in the least 'o'). As someone who searched reactions channels to get some variety in the anime list i could rewatch, i do believe right now that you're actually the most interesting reaction channel (Quality video, sound, quantity, regularity, banter, investment in the shows, etc..). PS: my sole complain would be some of the shows chosen but hey, can't have everything and i do understand why you make the choices you do.

Being a fast reader is definitely a big advantage for any subtitles, and even more in your case. I was always a reader so i don't have that problem (usually in anime the VA is at the second word and the sentence is already read on my end so i can appreciate the animation and the delivery of the voice acting more easily; et yes, Director reads at least two times faster than you, that point is obvious because he reacts first in general to what is gonna be said).

It's just for your re:zero reaction that i don't think you missed a lot of dialogue because of your banter, you just didn't deem some dialogue important (which wouldn't be in 99% of anime but are for this one lol) even though they were so you missed things in that show but i watched your reaction a long time ago so i don't really remember well. In your Overlord's reaction tho, that part was obvious since you were discussing for 5 mins straight and theorising the future of the show while you were missing the dialogue that kept answering your questions lol.

She tends to do so while the characters talking lol. And the thing she ask is high-level which requires thinking which is hard to do while reading In the past I would break from the show and just go whatever sheโs talking about for example

I only say short remarks. โWowโ โthats crazyโ โare you seriousโ or i repeat what i hear. None of these remarks distract me from paying attention. Directions is a fast reader. So he talks after reading. Notice i Dont verbally always respond anymore. We do handshakes. Or i say facts. Something short. Adorkable responds to my banter and straight up asks me questions and i donโt answer. You can see literally turn to me and i wont acknowledge her until minutes later. Or I lean in. I actively focus on the show during dialogues. In the past we would literally have full blown conversations answering each other back and forth. Now itโs basically broken because i dont resond back with anything at length. Usually director and AdorkableNerd donโt actually talk much with each other either. Lol. She never turns in his direction to talk. Cuz both are my friends but donโt talk to each much outside the reactions.

Not sure if you talked way more during Re:Zero than you do now but to be fair, you could watch One piece without sound or subtitle and not miss a lot lol. Re:Zero is probably one of the most heavy dialogue show (some dialogue that may seem random between two characters even in the first season are actually foreshadowing for stuff that won't be in the anime before season 4 or 5, kinda like AOT but Re:zero should be around 150 to 200 episodes to be completed so it will be way longer).

2024-04-04 16:27:54 +0000 UTCTalking about the intro, it's the same for Re:Zero with the fact that it's one of the first isekai you watched (hell, the dialogue is way more subtle in it with the foreshadowing and you missed way more during your watch than you did in your first Overlord watch, that's saying something). I bet you would rank it way higher now and get way more if you watched it now.
