You guys we're on point about how much Maomao is like her dad, but also like her mom. If you think about it she got her stratigist behavior from both side using guts and details at times! π§ Though I was late to the party, I caught up in two days though, I am really happy this got a second season. π€

If the quality of this and Frieren stays consistent they will both easily be my two favourite shows of all time. I can't think of any show that had a better first season than either of them at the moment.

So her first memory of him is bleeding from the head with a creepy laugh asking her to call him "Papa". Here's a quote from the manga, she said "That dreadful figure was burned into the depths of my childlike mind." Then he tries to buy her out for years. I wouldn't be happy with him either.

Lakan sees the women at the Verdigris House as Go pieces, which is why there are no words. He sees Gaoshun and Jinshi as Chinese Chess pieces, which is why they had words.
