Shop For Killers Vs Killers Paradox

As we keep diving into K-dramas, we're thinking about adding a short 8-episode series after finishing "Marry My Husband." We might also switch "Twinkling" to three episodes per week, but we're still figuring that out.

Lee might surprise us and drop "Marry My Husband" today if everyone's being nice and supportive.

Now, onto the big question: I'd love to hear your thoughts on which show we should watch next out of "Shop For Killers" or "Killers Paradox." Feel free to suggest others, but shorter 8-10 episode shows are what we're looking for. Let me know the episode count upfront so it's easier for me to pick out your suggestion.

I like these open discussions more than simple polls oftentimes because the most popular show might not be the best fit for us. I want to balance enjoyment and how many people are watching.
For animes...popularity is def the name of the game..22 minutes and your done...with live action content being 60-80 minutes.....YOU GOTTA BE FEELIN IT HA HA HA HA

It's not fun to watch a great show that nobody's interested in, and it's disappointing to spend time on a beloved series that doesn't match our interests. By talking and listening to feedback, I can tell who's looking out for our tastes and who just wants their show featured.

We try to cover lots of different types of shows and don't watch things and hate on them. Every show gets a fair shot for enjoyment, and sometimes I end up loving genres/shows I didn't expect to.

I know this got long, sorry about that. I hope it shows you how I think about picking our next show and how much I value your input.

Shop for killer!!!

Julie

10 eps: Oh, i love the drama " love to hate you" it is a drama with a very strong fl.

J.K.

Pyramid Game

Victoria Brodie

fair warning though, it’s not really like weak hero but i mean if you enjoyed that then you would enjoy pyramid game

zuhaaa

i would recommend pyramid game, it’s a 10 episode show, so far 8 have been released but i really do think you guys would enjoy it considering you’ve watched shows like this before e.g weak hero class 1

zuhaaa

I can't recommend a korean drama with less than 10 episodes at the moment, but there is a show that I would like you guys to react to in the future, title is From have 2 season with 10 episodes each.

Rein Mini

Shop for killers is better

GamingMusic

Train OCN , its 12 episode

Lis_Nr_Ftsytme

I personally vote for bad and crazy (12 ep) it has our favorite grim reaper as the main protagonist as well.

Sasha Palettee

Pyramid game!

Elicia Mitchem

Haven't watched Pyramid Game yet but my personal op. is 1st) A Shop for Killers and 2nd) A Killer Paradox. (From google research) Pyramid Game sounds too common plotwise. But on the other hand, Pyramid Game has a good rate regardless of a common plot so I think it's as good as A Shop for Killers.

Moss13

Highly recommend Pyramid Game! Theres 10 episodes and this week is the final week of airing. Every episode is so good thats addicting! Hopefully youll consider!

jihan

I watched both. Shop for killers is much better than killers paradox. it will also get high youtube views

taeri

I don’t have any show recommendations (all of mine have been mentioned), but switching Twinkling to 3 days per week sounds good if the goal is to wrap it up quickly. If the primary concern is the show’s schedule, it’s been on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so everyone expects it to post on TRs (this isn’t network TV though, so people should be chill out about that). That being said, deciding to have light-hearted shows on TR and Thrillers/Mysteries on MWF (or vise-versa) could help determine a permanent solution, but it would require more effort when replacing shows. IMHO, having a MW, TR, and a Friday ONLY show (or Fridays off!) would probably be easiest all around. You wouldn’t have to worry about episode count or genre because Fridays stand alone. Maybe Friday could be a throwback Kdrama, Jdrama, Cdrama (those have high episode counts though), or patreon suggested/polled highest? Really, it could be any random criteria you pick because you could easily change Friday’s “theme” after each show. That’s a tough decision, good luck!

Pia

Shop for Killers is great!

Kanwar Taroo Raaje

Pyramid Game tbh!

varus ez

There is the kdrama 'Chicken Nugget' that is trending right now. it is 10 episodes. It is so absurd. please if you do watch it don't let the other two know the plot beforehand 😂😂😂

Cabbage Dynamite

Shop for Killers is everything. Pyramid Game is not only is it good, but it's giving me anxiety. Ugghh . It's totally worth the watch. I can see the angst on the Director's face; YBRL coming out of his chair; and Adorkable sitting silently whilst steam fueled with pure disdain slowly seeps from her head. LoL

Bran Bran

Pyramid Game is really good

Nicky

i would also like pyramid game

odania innocent

Shop for killers for me but i would like to recommend Pyramid Game, a psychological thriller still airing right now with a total of 10 episodes and currently has 8 episodes out, only 2 more episodes left. This drama really plays with your mind, will keep you on the edge every single time and will keep you guys want to know what's gonna happen next. It's slowly gaining attention right now, i've only seen 2 reactors on youtube reacted to it and they were even asking why aren't many people tuning into the drama. The main lead is WJSN Bona (real name: Kim Jiyeon), she's one of those idols that can actually act so i'm pretty sure you guys won't be disappointed. Also, IVE Wonyoung's sister Jang DaAh (real name: Jang Jinyoung) is in this drama too and she really surprised most of us with her acting since this drama is her debut drama

thinkofview

oops sorry i checked the inventory list and it wasnt on there so i didnt know you had already reacted to it!

connie cheng

Shop of killers was amazing and switching Twinkling watermelon into 3 episodes per week is a good idea 😁

Edelmir Maligon

Havent watched both but i see people keep mentioning Shop for Killers

kun st

Between the two, Shop for Killers is better. But Gyeongsong Creature would also be a great consideration. Gives a Stranger Things vibe. Definitely different than many of the things you’ve covered before.

raguoc00

Brothers Sun

Krysta Nguyen

A shop for killers I've seen so many shorts about it and been meaning to start it!

Tasia

Shop for killers would be my pick between the two but I would really recommend Dr Slump. It's a show about doctors battling mental health. Main male lead is Park Hyung-Sik.

Aziz Razak

I`m leaning towards `Shop for Killers` because even though I haven`t seen it yet,I`m planning to. `Killer Paradox` ended up being a disappointment for me. First two episodes are great, but then it just divulges into a lot of style and barely any substance. It basically tricks you into thinking it`s smarter than it really is. Evokes the feeling `Mask Girl`gave without having a strong enough script. I`m down for shorter dramas, though they do end up being more middle of the road overall when compared to 12 and 16 episodes dramas. But I`m down for more KDramas always!

Maritza

Pyramid game is the most interesting thriller show airing right now

priya

Celebrity (2023) only 12 episodes, and Mask Girl (2023) around 7 episodes only. I don't know if you are into time travel theme, but if you do, I would like to suggest Mr. Queen, Live Up to Your Name, Tunnel (2017), and Times (2021).

Ryuken Fujiwara

Omg Shop For Killers is so good. Like SOOOO GOOD. I will be here front row for every episode lol

Reagan

Hate to Love You. 10 episode romcom that's a really fun watch 🫠😊

Sal

Porque no los dos? Haha, a shop for killers took me by surprise so I would vote for that one but they are both equaly good.

Pamela Blot

Killer Paradox!!!

Skyra Cosmos

I vote for A Shop For Killers. It hooked me in the first 5 minutes, then I spent the next 8ish hours binge-watching it.

Hey Lych

A shop for killers for sure 🔥

Grace B.

That show is covered. Check out the inventory of reaction links included in the K drama posts because you might be missing a few shows we’ve already covered

Rock Lee

if you’re open for 12 episodes, revenant is a really good horror/thriller kdrama

connie cheng

Pyramid games or the king of pigs 😌

Jaminica

Wow that's a difficult one but both are good,if you can give them a go then you can start with a shop for killers

Francis M

Maybe after you can react to move to heaven(2020) it's 10 episodes

Kimberley

Both are excellent and are more your taste. Do both.

Lysieblu

I completely forgot that Gyeongseong Creature has 10 episodes. Really enjoyed this one, it's very different from the other kdramas I've seen so far.

Marvelous JJ

I have no opinion…. Damn I just surprised myself 🤣🤣🤣🤣😵😵😵 What I mean is either of the shows you’re thinking about are creating lots of buzz so either is good. Short n sweet always good. My two cents. Have not read the suggestions of other patrons yet so I might comment on that later! Always grateful for the chance to exchange ideas with u guys 🙏🙏🙏

LightMyPath Star

a shop for killers, its more interesting (a least for me)

gabi

Shop for killers

diya rana

yes they did

Dilmurod

I haven’t watched either but going off on the titles, a shop for killer sounds more interesting 😏. As for a show that I’ve seen before that was short, and had good viewership I recommend vigilante it’s 8 episodes, great action. Y’all would love the MC.

Im Jubal

Sorry I remember you guys mentioned it but did you ever watch strangers from hell?

Aliyah Johnson

Geyongsong creature this show is also amazing you guys can consider this 😍😍😍

Himani Tokhi

Castaway Diva 🩵

Marvelous JJ

Gyeongseong creature I think it’s something you guys would enjoy

Rosey Martinez

Both of those kdramas are fine stories and relatively hot, if I had to chose I would take A shop for killers, both show are unorthodox but a killer paradox is a bit much. But also someone put "Bad and Crazy" into the mix (12 ep) and I think it the best recommendation (great story, fun and popular) honorable mention for "vigilante"

Tim Matumona

Pyramid games mostly because it’s pretty popular right now , I think it will rack in the views.

Joanna

Shop for killers definitely

Palak Shekhawat

castaway diva & the king of pigs! (12 episodes) i would also really enjoy a shop for killers.

janaé yukimura

Maybe you guys can check out some short Cdramas in the meanwhile, like Reset 15 eps The Bad Kids 12 eps The Long Night 12 eps Someday or One Day 13 eps

Dilmurod

Pyramid games is a strong recommendation rn, it's so good.

Maria

Putting Pyramid Game on my list

Anais

Both are on my list to start so I'm just waiting to see which wins to see what I'm watching next. 😉 win/win for me. ☺ BTW, Everyone play nice so we get that bonus Marry My Husband. 🙇

Randy Cooper

Don't worry it has drama and action too with great plot and great acting with top actors who wins grand prize for best actor almost in every drama he plays

Jude

Pyramid game🙏🙏

squid

A Shop for Killers

Bibi

I think the shortest Kdramas I know & love are all 12 or 14 episodes, so sadly can't help here. Although I've heard very good things about Move to Heaven which has 10 episodes (44–62 minutes per Wikipedia) and it's on my to-watch list.

Marvelous JJ

A shop for killers was a great action packed drama that kept me on my toes....I really enjoyed it.....a killers paradox is an okay drama haven't finished it though still contemplating to finish it.

ngaa

Yeah, probably too long for this particular recommendation request, but I love Happiness <3

Marvelous JJ

I already watched both of them and i think i will to towards a shop for killers . It pack with action and storytelling . You will not regret it .

Hidayu

Perfect Marriage Revenge

Mariam Mensah

Both a Shop For Killers and Killer's Paradox are on my to watch list so both sound good. Some suggestions on shorter kdramas are The Silent Sea (8 episodes and is scifi), Sound Of Magic (6 episodes), The Bad Prosecutor (12 episodes), Numbers (12 episodes), Move to Heaven (10 episodes) and Missing: The Other Side (12 episodes but does have a 2nd season). At some point I hope on longer shows (ones with 16 episodes and some with 2nd seasons) that you will consider Signal, The K2, The Devil Judge, Taxi Driver and The Good Detective (I think you would like all 5 of those shows).

Lilanea

I haven't seen Shop for Killers yet but it was on my list to watch. However I agree about Vigilante.

Anais

Love to hate you.. It's a 10 episode series

Deepankar Raha

I'mma say killers Paradox is def worth it and it's up your area of interest so you're (all 3 of you) gonna be hooked from the first episode no doubt. I wanna add: The reactions viewership rate is up to 30k+ for only one episode that's just on one YouTube channel.., let alone the Patreon views it's up there as well cuz it's different, interesting and it's keeping you on edge for the whole time with the plot twists. Also I wanna add that the Mean Lead/actor in Killers Paradox is the same actor who played the son Kevin in Parasite, and there's other great actors in it too. So I hope you go with Killers Paradox and upload it on YouTube as well, you won't regret it trust me. Love You 😍💜💜

Nada Bm

I like comedy. Very hit or miss with them though. So i get reluctant. It has to have another draw in case its not funny to me lol

Rock Lee

i haven’t seen either so i’m cool with whatever gets picked! if you need a show in the future i’d recommend move to heaven on netflix it’s 10 episodes.

Khadijah

I haven't watched either Kdrama but, I'm leaning more towards Shop for Killers based on the synopsis and rating on MyDramaList. As for recommendations, all I got is Happiness (2021), a 12 episode thriller Kdrama for a shorter kdrama. The runtime generally stays around 1hr 5 mins. That aside, I'll watch and be happy with whatever show is chosen

Mell

that is such a hard question omg I think both are a good watch. Whichever one you guys end up watching ya'll got to do the other another time.

Nara

Shop for Killers all the way! It just brings the smoke and story with atmosphere

rytova ar

killers paradox is goof

Dragon

Shop for killer is ok. A killer paradox was trash (one of the few kdrama I really found boring and bad)

varus ez

I haven't watched either of them so idk, but I would like to suggest Vigilant (2023 - 8 episodes - disney+)

Sabrina Dias

Pyramid Game is also great and still airing so its "hot" for reactions now

xartori

I believe Shop for Killers is better, because it's more satisfying to watch and the acting is really great. Also it is very well written: a mysterious plot with a nice way of unraveling the story. Overall it is intense, action packed and excited but with a lot of heart and emotional intensity as well.

Alexis Veres

A Shop for killers.

Animae

Haven’t seen a shop for killers but a killers paradox was good!

Em

I personally think a shop for killers is better and I think you would enjoy it more than a killer's paradox.

Max4x9

I don't know because I haven't seen either. If you want to see something short, watch Pyramid Game. (episode 10)

Zero D

I also recommend Love to hate you. Funny, short and mature (10ep)

Ange Kelodia

Shop for killers is really good. I love the plot and I think you'd enjoy it

Kaykay

Guys if you like comedy please consider the fiery priest

Jude

Love to hate you is also a great option. 10 episodes n netflix. Comedy/romance kdrama with alot of personality. There is also action!

xartori

Please A Shop for Killers

Wapex

Yesss that was agreat series -)

xartori

Haven't watched either of these, so I'm just going to suggest cuz the shortest one I know. Hymm of Death, 6 episodes 30 minutes each. (The platform I watched it on had is as 3 eps 60 minutes each) it's super tragedy that could have rivaled Titanic.

Ihsan

I would also like to throw in Bad and Crazy as an option 🙃 just to mix it up and i will not stop suggesting it lol

Mochi

I really liked both of them... I can't choose 🤷‍♀️

martina1712

Killers paradox is inconsistent and doesnt deliver fully (although its good it may leave you unsatisfied at the end). Shop for killers is much better ad satisfing however in the last episodes the flashbacks were too much and could have been paced better. A better and more satisfing option would be Vigilante. Its short, lean, mean , satisfying and a good shot of adrenaline :-D Its also ideal for reacting to it

xartori

haven't seen any of Killer's Paradox yet but hear good things about both, haven't finished A Shop For Killers but what i have seen is golden~ Both have great A list actors and intriguing plot from what I have seen and heard so I am looking forward to whichever ^-^

Mochi

Killer paradox

Akyla Randolph

💯

MO

I haven't watched either of the two but i am open to watch them with you. Heard a lot of good things on shop for killers

Aka yuki

I haven’t watched either of these but I have heard that killer’s paradox has insane moments in it . Therefore I’m really curious about it. But I’ll be happy with whatever gets picked in the end.

Kiana

I would choose a shop for killers but another great short drama that is different from what y’all usually watch is the “sound of magic”.

Pleb

Shop for killers

Lizbeth Perry

Love to hate you 10 episodes on Netflix

Aka yuki

😮‍💨 I'mma say Killer Paradox. It was a lil more insane but both were... an experience

Infinite Ree

I’m all for a Killers Paradox. I tried a Shop for Killers and got bored after a few episodes. A Killers Paradox had so many twist and unexpected elements that kept me on my toes and made me want more.
