2024-03-12 08:21:39 +0000 UTCi think the reason andy has the restriction of "protect my brain" was shown in the convo he had with fuko before she left. he asked her when do you think someone dies and he believed its when you can't think no more or construct thoughts and because of that he believed he needed to make sure nothing happened to his brain/ head and added these rules ie i regenerate from my head etc. it wasn't until fuko told him nah you truly die once people forget you that he removed that restriction and was more carefree with his powers. this allowed in that 200+ year time from that moment until he meets fuko again in japan fir andy to actually use his powers truly and thus learned all these new moves that the andy we met in the first episode wouldn't have even thought to do. ngl this was a really unique way to essentially have a training arc for both andy and fuko.
