That one scene where he's saying just one year, I think since it already looked like a love confession, him saying something along the lines of "we agreed that you'd do this just for one year" kinda sounds like they're agreeing to keep something between them secret from everyone else or something. Idk, it would definitely sound scandalous from anyone eavesdropping haha

2024-03-06 05:40:56 +0000 UTCi really love what you said about how yea heβs responsible and mature in the present but the thing is like you said a lot of that was because he was told what to say and what to do via instruction of his parents. and heβs mature and responsible in the sense of taking care of his family and putting them before everything. but like you said now in the past heβs getting that sense of youth and fun and friends he missed out on and we see the naive 18 year old in him who doesnβt really know what heβs doing and is just so frustrated by his immature father. and speaking of the dad it is absolutely frustrating at times to see lee chan/yichan be that immature and irresponsible. like eungyeol said he truly is just doing this band for a girl and is ignoring everything and everyone for her. you can definitely see already part of his character journey is to be more caring and less irresponsible. and the thing is he clearly does care about more than the girl he likes as we see with him already missing eungyeol and not expecting him to actually leave and being reminded of cheongah and going to see her! and even in ep 4 sekyung left mid performance but he still had an amazing time singing and performing with eungyeol.
