took me months to finally finish this however im glad its done . my issue with this show is the very weak A plot , b plot was just better written .,azula , zuko and ozai are easily the strongest part of the show which is unfortunate because i loved the aang team in the animated show . i get wanted to expand on the fire nation character however the shouldnt have sacrificed the aang and kataras characters for that . anyways i cant wait to see my girl azula next season .

Made me wanna re-watch the OG series as I think this one was carried by the fire nation characters (shout out to Iroh and Zuko!) since they rushed and skipped the fleshing out of the other characters, leaving a few plot holes. Glad i watched it though coz those fire nation moments were top quality. Glory to Fire Lord Ozai!

This is the most negative ive been on a show in a while but it's so clearly inferior to the original that i couldn't help it. The pacing was way too fast and the changes they made were mostly bad or added nothing with only a few good ones. The characters arcs were flattened and they were only shadows of their real selves especially Katara which isy biggest complaint, sigh. It'll probably get a season 2 so i hope it's better.

2024-03-04 15:03:20 +0000 UTCWhat a lucky coincidence for Zhao that they just happened to invade on the day that the spirits took a physical form, this was an unnecessary change. Also, this show just says things. How was sending a massive invasion force to the North Pole a distraction that allowed you to take Omashu in the earth kingdom? It's not like they were helping each other Bumi had closed off the city like they established in episode 3. Also, they're insanely far from each other so the logistics don't make sense anyway. My final problem is Katara's speech. The show hasn't built their bond at all so her saying that they're family and that she needs him doesn't feel earned at all.
