Su-min is a top tier manipulator. Sheβs intelligent, but she just acts like a sociopath, lol. Sheβs so evil and has no empathy for anything or anybodyβ¦ But even she knows how trashy Min-hwan is but she just wants him cause heβs Ji-wonβs boyfriend. This drama is wild! I love it.

25:38 I don't know why but for some reason watching you guys react to Jiwon crying in this scene made me think of this. https://youtu.be/uvqJ1mTkEuY?si=y0vyk-ND7lB8SGz9

The foundation of this show lies in the false sense of level 10 confidence her simp of a boyfriend and Su Min have in their belief that Ji Won is only for them and is too weak to ever be swayed. Sad but true. This is why they are in utter disbelief when she says or does anything in opposition to them. The way I was Laila Ali airboxing for the mini forest fight was just wrong; however, a bump on the head or a bruise on the face afterward would have been nice. IJS. Director was so on point when he touched on Ji Won's emotional breakdown. In the current/past time, they have 7 years together; yet, in future time they have 17 yrs together. That was sheer heartbreak to witness herself being a non-MF Factor to someone she invested so much in. Then to see the itsy bitsy teenie weenie speck of a diamond on her necklace vs Su Min's necklace was another blow. Sigh...Her co-worker really is just a sweet, timid non-confrontational pushover. My take on her weirdness towards Ji Won is her guilt knowing she betrayed her by working on her stolen project. Especially since JW offered her a partnership after the betrayal. @Adorkable...ummm nah that wasn't normal how she was dedicating energy to scratching out her face. In my day we just folded the pic in half or cut them out with scissors. Sis was on some "I will not be ignored Martin" Fatal Attraction type ish.

I also already finished the show but I thrive on your discussion. Her father adored her and gave her his all but the toxic gaslighting, passive aggressive behavior and domestic abuse tore her down. The sadder part to me was she was intelligent enough to realize what was happening but not stabilized enough to stop it.
The psychology of Su-Min in this episode had me spinning the first time I watched it because her psychopathy is something else. I will say Iβm really looking forward to next week! Thanks for the great reactions
PS - The door code was 20130419 the day he woke up in the past.

100% director on the level of single parent honebon top of the abandonment on top of the best friend constantly in her head manipulating her can all affect that long term self confidence and independence. she's a very relatable protagonist especially the overcorrection of hyper independence out of fear and anxiety too

I havenβt started the episode yet. Just finished listening to you guys talk in the beginning. Even though I already finished the show.
Based off your POV, despite the loving dad daughter relation. I like to think that because we know sheβs been behind her bullies in high school. And her unnecessary side comments when talking to MCβS co workers. Sheβs been isolating her. And when her dad died, her confidence was so low, she settled for Sumin
