2024-02-26 22:29:21 +0000 UTCThe interesting thing is Vash saying he's gonna reveal the truth of the world to Sunraku but Setsuna saying they need to find "Bahamut", so the question that comes to mind is whether or not Vash is "Bahamut" or if "Bahamut" is just a different npc to learn about it from, Since Vash is a special unique scenario

2024-02-26 09:09:26 +0000 UTCObviously game developers knew there's a lifespan and playability to any games. Even for big name games, unless they kept coming up with game updates which enticed their paying customers to return for more, they are going to stare at a dead server soon. However, being a true gaming series, I'll bet the developers buff Wezaemon for players who ran into him mid games to be fighting an impossible fight, but if the same gamers were to run through the boss as the story is supposed to be told, they will get level up items and "cheat" items to clear him. It's like if you play Megaman any series, you're not going to win the big boss fight even if you go straight to him. You need to run through the other bosses in sequence, gets their power up items (cheat) and have the chance to beat the final boss. Furthermore Wazaemon's area is not supposed to be found so early and easily without hint. It's a secret cave to it, and you need to be there at the right time to get the event triggered. So Pencilgon is just very lucky to find the cave entrance and patience to search for the right time continuously until it triggers the soul of Setsuna to speak to her.

2024-02-26 07:30:03 +0000 UTCEh, if nobody can legitimately beat a boss for 10 years, inevitably players are going to complain about game balance and lose interest. Ever did WoW raids? The devs had that same philosophy about making unbeatable bosses, so the players came up with some seriously clever glitches, including swapping tanks so that the boss couldn't do mechanics while walking from one tank to the other. This was a few months into Vanilla WoW. 10 years? Fuggetaboutit!

Wezaemon is supposed to be the middle Boss, so no one is supposed to beat him now, before conquering other Bosses before him. Thus why one wanted to buff him and makes it impossible for anyone to beat him. While the other wants to give a very very very small chance for someone to do so.

Wethermon got beat, the story continues. If no-one can beat Wethermon, your story never gets told. After a few failures, have NPCs start dropping hints. Make it difficult but satisfying.
