The way I see it is if you're to the point where someone is just negatively hating for not legitimate reason on a show you're watching means the video was popular enough to get a wide enough audience to get people to hate randomly. I typically chalk it up to a need for attention, a need for one's opinion to be validated by others, or a remarkable level of immaturity that's either age appropriate or not for the person on the other side of that keyboard.
