Any show that relies on music generally doesn't hit like it should because I turn it down to pass youtube as the TV audio and the sound of our voice is on one track.
I am aware of other recording methods as i react solo and can separate audio, but i don't do that for group reactions...frankly...because this is simple....

However, after I started watching it, I got totally hooked on it. It has actually become one of my favorite kdramas. It has fun moments but many of the characters have very deep emotional storylines that really draw you in. I was really glad I gave it a chance cause I ended up loving the show.

When she has short hair she somehow looks way older (or we just got used to her with short hair as a grown woman in Business Proposal). Ryeoun, meanwhile, looks like he's 30 (and I only say this because he looked more like a teenager in the KDrama he did right before this called 18 Again, where he played the son of the Zac Efron character)

2024-02-16 21:49:38 +0000 UTCI'd say give it 2 or 3 episodes. The plot doesn't kick in until episode 3 with one and two being a lot of setup and backstory. Episode 1 mostly focused on Ha Eun Gyeol as a kid.

When it was first introduced to me I was weary, especially since the fans are (rightfully so) being vague about what the show is about. I was like "the fuc is a Twinkling Watermelon?" And even had that slight racist thought in the back of my head since I'm black and the watermelon stereotype. This show is so good. Episode 2! The plot begins. This show is best absorbed going in blind, going in raw.
