Some guy on Reddit just realized that due to the naming conventions of putting your family name first, Lakan, or more properly, Kan of the La Family, our poor Main Character narrowly avoided being called LaMao. Can you IMAGINE a young girl from the hood being called LMAO, much less by her prettyboy boss? No wonder she gave him that death glare. It be like if some dude decided that Raphael was pronounced ROFL. I just remembered that one of my old roommates had the initials WTF, and he still put that in his gamertag. Oh, and then there was time that I made some artistic changes with the spelling of the name of our Defensive Driving/DUI teacher, and turned a completely normal name into Beverage Cold.

You CAN'T force a courtesan to become pregnant, because of all the dozens of different abortifacients that are common in the field, especially since being preggo would mean the reduction of a value, so there's no way the Madam would permit that anyway what with her being the pennypincher that she is. The only way for the plan to work, is for Maomao's mom to consent to it (and thus not consume an abortifacient at all during the entire pregnancy sequence), there's no other realistic way really

However because Maomao's mom was no longer pure and was pregnant she was no longer valuable enough to just play games or drinking tea with customers. Now she was actually taking customers and one of them gave her the clap.
