Yes and No so in the show they haven’t yet shown his mana level. That is what they test. In the LN both his mana and intelligence was at 10 points. This series his mana lvl can be interpreted as MP. But as he levelled up his intelligence went up. This also increased his MP/mana levels. So his skills he has now use zero mana/MP. It’s hard to explain with out spoilers but in this show you can call mana MP.

2024-02-18 19:20:01 +0000 UTCI think you're conflating MP and mana amigo as they're different in most Korean series from what we're used to with Western or Japanese series but its rarely elaborated on because its a simple translation issue. MP or magic points is a separate stat from mana similar to how vitality and stamina are separate from but still loosely connected to HP. In this series a person is imbued with mana when they awaken and that mana level only changes when they reawaken or in Jinwoo's case he seems to absorb mana from monsters as exp and levels. His MP however is the amount of magic points he has for skills & such and does not affect his mana level for the purpose of rank since he's still allocating the same amount of exp/mana he's just using it for physical enhancements currently instead of magic so he'd have the same amount of power if it were all in MP just different.

His mana has grown due to him levelling up. Also they have just covers the first 6 chapters in the book. So happy about that. It really captured the moment of him realizing he had to change into something darker than before to live. I love character shifts like that. Thanks for the reaction again! You guys are always fun to watch reacting to these shows.

Lacked the stamina to sustain the fight with Spider Boss = defeat; but Full Recovery perk saved him. Unable to sufficiently damage Spider Boss = defeat; but Kasaka Dagger perks compensated for that. He's D level for sure. Same situation but Spider was resistant/immune to poison (common theme in venomous monster types); would have resulted in defeat.

As this episode mentioned, even A-tier Hunters have difficulties w/ on-par bosses (as we saw from the 3 females talking, where one mentioned how awestruck they were that the S-tier Hunter just instaclapped the A-tier boss that they had difficulty fighting with (as A-rank trainee raiders basically, so not used to that shit yet)

Pretty much guaranteed will be 2024 anime of the year at this point. Will see is there any other new anime that will compete with this. PS. I have 0% trust on Director what he is spouting would do those things in situation like that :D

2024-02-11 06:50:05 +0000 UTCYeah. Even in the same episode we saw an S-rank hunter easily clean up an A-rank boss while we saw him struggle against a C-rank boss. If he hadn’t saved the Daily Quest rewards from the previous episode, he would’ve died there. Not a complaint or anything but every reactor I’ve watched thinks he’s like A or S rank already and Idk why lol. The show just started and we see him still struggle, even though he’s clearly much stronger than he was before. We haven’t seen a lot of S-rank hunters yet but the ones we have seen have blitzed every beast they were up against easily. At most, I’d say he’s around B-Rank because he leveled up a bit after the spider and he easily beat those C-Rank hunters but that could be because of the dash skill plus the dagger’s effects.

Since this is a C dungeon or w/e, and he struggled against the boss when we saw S-tier Hunters in E1 clap some antbois who were bodying like C/B or w/e tier Hunters by the loads, no fucking way he is above B
