personally, i think marry my husband is not the revenge drama to watch if you are into that genre, yes it has a lot of hype right now and it starts off really promising and good, but in my opinion, it gets really messy, hard to follow and adds unnecessary plots later into the show + i don't really enjoy the chemistry between the main leads, of course you guys could have a different opinion to me but the last few episodes were not it and made me drop the show altogether

twinkling watermelon is better, and has a different plot. marry my husband follows the same stuff ive seen before. twinkling watermelon also has better ratings, but whatever floats your boat (the cliche/more predictable story might be a bit more of a fit for you. In my opinion its best to watch the shows at the same time so you get what the ohter show is missing)

I definitely I agree that from what Lee has mentioned in the past about really enjoying dramas with tension and drama that Marry My Husband is a better fit for them .

Marry of husband is a good show of 2024 and twinkling watermelon is the top drama/highest rated drama of 2023. Also Twinkling watermelon is so many twists and turns and so much to discuss. TW will also do well on youtube in comparison for sure.

I honestly think that "gyeongseong creature" is the better choice, both of those shows are of really good quality but they both don't match as well with you guys than "gyeongseong creature" would. In term of hype, the one with the most hype is "marry my husband" as it's still airing, "twinkling watermelon" has a solid fanbase so it will gather hype and "gyeongseong creature" also has a good fanbase and only renctly finished so it's still fresh. Also the show will have a second season so it will catch a second wave of hype. This shows has both the male lead of" Itaewon Class" and the female lead of "My Name" , both heavy hitters.

Thanks Snax. I am always trying to reach as many people with our content for reactions while i can watch anything on my own time. THE SINGLE MOST IMPORTANT LOGIC. the best time to record a show that cam out in 2023 is 2023. That is when it’s watched at it’s peak. So would not make sense doing new shows late. Thats the single biggest reason they get covered before a timeless does I do this by staying up to date on what viewers spend time watching and trying to meet them there. I dont always prioritize views that way. Death Game, Worst Of Evil, Revent were not chosen for views. They were good and short so were able to absorb them. Romance shows do the best so if it was just views, I would stick to them. So there is a bit of nuance with our approach. I wanna make sure I enjoy the content. Not just for “views” The timeless shows can be recorded anytime. Thats why i dont jump on the older suggestions. But i eventually cover older i do this with anime when there isn’t enough new. The difference with kdramas is they already take up long time to record and there is generally always something out when we finish.

he's mentioned before that he watches dramas for the views. if something isn't new, the engagement or views may be lower and thus he may not make as much off the content. if he sees so many people hype up only newer dramas, of course he will choose those. to his credit, he has watched a few that are more than a couple years old. i guess you could consider that as 'older'. i've stopped trying to recommend dramas because i would only rec ones that are around 5 years or older and i know no one will add them to polls or vote for them. i've saved quite a bit of money that way. lol

Doubts you've for Twinkling Watermelon: 1. Is it one of another romcom releasing every year -NO, not a regular romance show 2. Is it BL - NO, it may seem from posters but main leads aren't romantically involved AT ALL 3. Should we watch a show just because they have familiar actors in it? - NO we should not just bcoz of that, RATHER it has a S-TIER storyboard which needs no external excuse for it to be watched 4. Is it better than MMH- both are good but MMH is just a typical romcom that is good, but TWINKLING WATERMELON is masterpiece of 2023. Not sure if MMH could be considered be a masterpiece of 2024.

To summarize without spoilers it would be like this It’s like picking between attorney woo and the glory that’s how different they are. Obviously less intense of course. But if I say more I might do spoilers so I’m saying it might be worth to watch for the channel however I’m not sure about this time slot I rather u keep light hearted some days and darker or intense on others to keep a nice balance with viewership and audience taste.

The two dramas have a similar plot point (not spoiling) but have very different directions they took it in, in my opinion. i haven't watched marry my husband yet but the plot seems pretty cool and I'm all for revenge plots no matter how cliche it is lol, it would be nice watching it with y'all. i alr watched twinkling watermelon and it really is one of the best feel-good dramas out there. I think people are using the actors/actresses to get you into the drama because they really did a good job and have good chemistry with one another, but I think the plot of that drama should be also given credit because it was superb. But if that's not the vibes y'all are looking for rn, i guess it could wait lol

Also marry my husband is going off the og book not the webtoon I heard that the book was even more dramatic than the webtoon. I do think you'd really like both and both have their cliches but I enjoyed twinkling watermelon after I gave in after finals week and watched it. It's now one of my faves. Seen both, Twinkling Watermelon one of the best dramas I've ever seen. Marry My Husband has been pretty decent, but since most dramas fail to stick the landing and this one isn't even finished, I don't see it coming close to TW in quality by the end. That being said, as much as people talk about not judging a book by it's cover, everyone still does to an extent, the vibe they've been giving off for months since the show first started getting recommended here is that they're not feeling it, and those reactions where someone goes into it not feeling it already, are always the worst. So I'd rather they just watch what they've assumed they'll enjoy more

Uhh currently its on track to replace Deaths game. Dilmurodnis generally right in his thoughts. Although I still eye Twinkling because it is discussed as the best show of 2023 a lot and if i don’t react to it. Id wanna check it out. On my own there is no pressure so if i dont like…i can stop hahaha. But i dont see how it matches my taste with the limited knowledge i have but i am interested in why people like it so much. I looked at views for both and its good. Twinkling has more consistency but i chose the “safe” opinion cuz its views arent bad just less tested. I really fear starting long shows i wont like. As someone who has seen both, I would love to see your reactions to either one. Twinkling Watermelon: I binged this is one sitting it was a really nice drama and a good break from the more action packed and "stressful" dramas. It also has the actor from weak hero and the actress that played the best friend in Business Proposal. I know you guys don't usually cry when watching dramas but this one is definitely a more family focused/emotional show. Marry My husband:I'm fully caught up on this and watch the episodes as soon as they come out I also read some of the webtoon that this was adapted from and I think they're doing a pretty good job sticking to it. It's focused on revenge and it does have some emotional moments but for the most part it just made me wanna punch some of the characters. I think it would be funny seeing you guys reaction to some of the things the people in this show do. So at the end of the day I'd love to see you react to both but I'm sure that's not a choice so I typed this long ass comment just to say I'm happy with anything you choose.💀

imma help break it down but only a little bit with no spoilers marry my husband is a lighthearted revenge drama that makes the female lead go back to the past twinkling watermelon is a slice of life drama that makes the male lead go back to the past both deals with time travel, both are comedic too, one is abt revenge and maybe fate (it’s still an ongoing drama), one is abt how life is full up and downs but there will always be light in the darkness especially within family. i personally would like to see twinkling watermelon, the show is still popular and do well on youtube reactions! and i don’t mind marry my husband, i haven’t watched it on my own but i’ve been keeping up with it on tiktok to see the key points of each episode so ik what’s going on, the show also does well on youtube

honestly, I was so excited for Marry my husband because I am a big fan of the webtoon, and it was great. But now, at episode 12, it gets too complicated, and the plot is getting a bit too cliche. I know they made an adaptation of the web novel, not the webtoon, but the webtoon was perfect. But that is just my opinion. Up until now, it was great, so let's see how it will evolve.

I have seen the drama for twinkling watermelon but I actually haven’t seen the drama for marry my husband but I did read the webtoon on that and heard it’s been pretty good so either or is fine for me! Twinkling watermelon does have actresses tho, I believe two main girls and one of them is one of the actresses you’ve seen in business proposal/strong girl but I say if you’re going for what interest you and what’s currently trending then it would be marry my husband. Although I would give twinkling watermelon a chance too in the future!
