2024-02-06 23:36:56 +0000 UTCso 2 things, the scrub was a full body scrub and peel and it's a really common think because of all the fine dust in south korea people often accumulate tons of pollutants on their skin and it layers and becomes icky so they will opt to have a deep skin scrub to get off all the dead grime and skin it's also why their skin is healthier and more vibrant ^-^

You watch the show for the fun Dark Souls video game stuff that happens. Hyun Bin and his male secretary had a better bromantic relationship than Hyun Bin and Park Shin Hye in Memories

2024-01-31 23:46:39 +0000 UTCWhat I liked about Memories, was the really good use of Dark Souls machanics for dramatic effect. Dark Souls has "allies" and "invaders" and the characters they used to invade and ally in Hyun Bin's game were stressful and tearjerking. I also wish we had a game like that in real life, without the irl pain of course. It's like Pokemon Go, except it's Dark Souls Go, and you get your starter sword at Subway.

That song played a lot during the AR game (at least the fights) in the show. If memory serves, Memories of Alhambra also has murder, zombies, shoot outs, ninjas, and is light on romance (despite what the trailer shows). It’s worth the watch.

I don't think it's a reference, but the KDrama he did right before Crash Landing was one where he was a video game developer called Memories of Alhambra. there supernatural stuff happens and his game starts affecting things in the real world
