We plan to stay away from Apple shows to react to, cuz I think too many people are tired buying more subscriptions, and Monarch didn't do well when we post on Youtube...although it did well here...." but I'm on Patreon" I know...but you found us on Youtube...so we have always consider growth and maintenance

Plot is decent and I like some of the side characters too but it’s definitely not on the same tier as The Bear, Barry, and House of Usher.

2024-01-15 21:55:57 +0000 UTCFair enough! I was just making the point about how the show may not have hit a large enough audience due to its nature and thereby the online reaction seeker community. I personally thought it was a decent show. When Apple puts its money into projects, they are usually somewhat decent even if not an S-tier banger, but since they are a little more on the “artsy” side of things, some stuff may not appeal to a large enough audience. And while I am not a huge fan of the “Monsterverse”, after watching most of the first season, Monarch has been decent so far. But I definitely think some of the other shows are even better!

Just wanted to let you know that Apple TV has some bangers and new seasons of those shows have high anticipation but this is for you and family to enjoy on your own time. I know the Chanel stats are obviously very important to how decisions are made and so far you guys have delivered pretty well. When we have para-social relationships, we all tend to want others to feel the joys we felt when experiencing something, so of course we will hound you haha but you guys have already been doing a great job with the balancing act, so no complaints from me! 🙋

It’s just not always practical to post them. so if I can be completely honest since I have a Apple TV subscription I like the idea of watching some high-quality shows in my boxers lol. And all I want talking all i want on my down time with wife. If the shows you recommended have high numbers I would definitely consider reacting to them

Reacher is more popular it seems though since it can appeal to a larger audience due to its rather inoffensive nature. It’s a totally fine show, but the writing is definitely a tier below shows like House of Usher, The Bear and Barry, which are thought provoking and contemplative. Still though, a decent action and crime story is always welcome too. And I think we are getting both, so this comment is just to delineate the styles of these shows for anyone who hasn’t watched any of them! We’ll be happy either way folks!

2024-01-15 21:39:05 +0000 UTCRock Lee brother, Apple TV wasn’t really the issue. It’s just that Monarch may not have been that great/popular enough of a show to a wide enough audience to begin with. On Apple TV, “From All Mankind” and “Severance” and “Ted Lasso” are much better shows. Currently overall, Apple TV shows are actually doing very well with critics and general audience since they curate very well with some of the highest streaming numbers. But perhaps as S-tier those 3 shows are, maybe the YouTube audience never intended to tune in for those reactions since so few reactors reacted to them. Like “Ted Lasso” got picked up by Blind Wave and RTTV, but Roshi and some others haven’t. “Severance” and “From All Mankind” unfortunately didn’t even get picked up by the biggest reactors either, so the Apple TV shows are great with some of the best streaming numbers, but the audience looking for reactions to those shows seem to be limited due to no expectation of reactions to them. Which sucks for those of us who like watching high quality tv and reactions to such said shows. Often times, the popular shows are not nearly as good as the highly acclaimed ones, but those will be the ones to get you the acceptable viewing numbers for your YouTube channel. (which we understand even though it’s a bummer that even S-tier shows get overlooked sometimes) 🤷
