2024-01-14 07:20:57 +0000 UTCIts funny they actually went the route of not showing the guy who got curbed stomped wearing the cross necklace like he wore in the manwha. He also more specifically went straight for the Christian prayer in the manwha translations I read. I understand why they wouldn't want to have that in the anime because it can be seen disrespectful in a certain way but I would have given them props at the same time if they just made it like it was in the manwha and had him be a Christian. Overall I think it just was safer from potential controversy.

2024-01-14 03:10:02 +0000 UTCYeah that's what "Prove your Faith in god" means, you have to be willing to die to prove your faith, which also fixes you up after "dying" (well I suppose it basically puts you into stasis during the quest completion, hence why it says your heart will stop in 0.02s if you don't accept, because if you don't accept, it will disable the stasis & you will pepsi instantly because of the damage. I assume the red variable bit showing the X.XXs is based on the damage you took & showing how close to death you are based on real-time calculations of your physical condition at the instant if time wasn't on pause basically), as is common in many of the "Leap of Faith" types of tests of religious settings in carious media etc

I don't think any of the steps necessitated someone dying. In theory, as long as no one tried to leave and everyone followed the proper steps, everyone would've been in the circle at the end and all of them would've gotten the secret quest. I say "in theory" because the likelihood of everyone living to that point was very low, since you needed to understand the assignment almost instantly to have everyone live. Edit: Actually, thinking about it more, I guess it depends on how many statues with instruments there are. So yeah, people probably would end up dying if there're too many bodies in the room.

So no matter what 10 people or one person or all somebody was going to die at the end. I think by him doing the third rule by being faithful that's why he going to solo up and be different
