Also , it show some Real Korean cases , it's a fiction inspired by Real facts. I Can recomand Tomorrow , who IS a drama about some Hell unit sens to save people who are trying toi unlive themselves. It's really rmotional and well balnced with some good humoriste.

Maybe when they initially marketed the drama they said it was a romance to attract more viewership because romance sells but honestly romance really took the back seat on this one I might even say that it was placed in the trunk of the car lol. This was so much more about perseverance growth and familial love. A child’s journey to saving his parents and himself.

Whenever you're ready for a romance, Crash Course in Romance or Twinkling Watermelon (my #1 & #2 fav kdrama of 2023!) For a classic, I suggest Healer! (Mystery, suspense, & romance) so good!

There aren't a lot of people who watch it either although it is a great drama. Happiness is great as well, but I could watch Mouse over and over again and never get tired of it. Another great one that is underrated is Blind, but overall Mouse is top tier for me.

Centered around a female lawyer and her trials and tribulations related to her past and the firm she is working at. The male main character also went through a really tough past and is aiming to be a lawyer. The themes have our usual power hungry and dirty politicians, people in power trying to hide their mistakes as best as possible and what it's like being suspected of crime and how you are treated even if proven innocent. It has a stellar cast as well and the episodes on there own are all very good.

It does have some romance but it is not really the main point so I wouldn’t consider it a romantic drama.One drawback for you guys might be that just like Crash Landing it does have long episodes, but I honestly think every minute of the drama is worth it☺️

I will say Mouse is probably the proprietary pick between the 2, if I had to choose with a gun to my head....but I also really don't care for either so whichever wins the poll is what I'll watch as I have not been interested to watch either in all the years they've been out 🙃

I'm sorry if they are hard to fit into your busy schedule, but if you want to see a cinematically engaging masterpiece that follows a complete and rounded story...there are somethings you sacrifice for that art appreciation. Just some food for thought as you tend to complain about them being so long...and for me, that's 90% of the joy of korean dramas. This format works to tell a complete story that only takes one season to tell. As opposed to other genres that pitch a 15 minute ever changing story that almost never resolves itself in a season and often ends on cliffhangers because the writers don't write their stories to completion. Anyway, ultimately, I respect and love that you continue to serve us in the small minority of kdrama watchers in the $15 tier[but I salty that you didn't give me the shoutout uwu]. I once again hope you widen and expand your horizons as you delve into this style of cinema.

It has the actor Lee Dong Wook from Goblin and strangers from hell, and Wi Ha-Joon from the worst of evil, them two as the leads. The drama is 12 episodes and it follows the story of A mysterious, justice-seeking entity who throws chaos into the life of a cop who's willing to overlook ethics and corruption for a promotion. I think you would like it because it has accion, Mystery, thriller and comedy.

There is NO romantic plot so it will be a break from this plotline for you three, but the story itself is really interesting and has a detective feel. The characters have different sides, there is a ghost/demon aspect to it. The cast, acting, atmosphere is immaculate, just so creepy at times and often rough/bloody. This kdrama is from 2018 year, it was mentioned a couple of times on Discord

It's a thriller, mystery genre. i'm pretty sure you're gonna like it. the show is about highschool students playing a game called "mafia game" idk if you guys are familiar with it. but the game is like they need to catch or find the mafias in order for the civilians to win. there are also police and doctor roles in the game which is on the civilian side. this has become easily one of my fave releases from 2023. really short and underrated but really good as well and the concept plot is amazing as well. i hope you can consider it!

As far as the creators I think they would love it n it’s the perfect drama for Anime lovers. But and this is a big BUT you will never see me recommend this drama at all and my reasoning is as follows 1. It’s long AF (30 episodes) 2. I mind creator burnout (editing hours watching not watching anything else) 3. Can’t ever be posted to yt everybody gets a strike and I do mean everybody which means it can only be patreon exclusive (Vincenzo flashbacks) 3. There are so many more kdramas like the ones suggested that are great and shorter and possible for yt content as well. So there that’s my reasoning behind never voting that one up ever

If you want something shorter and with less focus on romance, Death's Game is a good one. It only has 8 episodes and some episodes are only about 40 mins long.

Happiness doesn’t do bad at all even with small channels as well as twinkling watermelon. The latter just finished on another channel in yt and it gathered lots of views even though the channel itself only has like 35k followers so that’s the info I have on that. Mouse does well with international audiences as well so it’s in the middle depending on your audience in yt. My two cents

Regarding Kdramas, I can only endorse the two you already have in mind: Happiness and Mouse. - Happiness: 12 episodes. Epidemic, zombie, and critical of society. Two main characters that are both intriguing and endearing. - Mouse: 20 episodes. Thriller, serial killer, scary, violent. There were many moments that were mind-blowing for me. As far as mouse I like it but I prefer we do happiness just because I miss some gore and it would be a nice change of pace.
