Unlike those animals however, they have intelligence on top of their lack of empathy which leads them to decieve humans. If any creature hunted humans and was intelligent, they would more than likely follow the same path as the Demons here did.

2023-11-06 03:49:10 +0000 UTCdemons in this show are the literal definition of the scorpion and the frog story. thats why they're so bad. they literally cannot reason. they must hurt you . they will ALWAYS hurt you. its thier very nature to do so. thats what frieren was talking about when she said she can kill her now without thinking about it. because aura thought that because himmel was dead, frieren could just abandon the city like it was a perfectly logical thing. like the little girl demon killing the father and giving the daughter to the family. it make sense if you have zero empathy. thats when frieren knew that aura was just a monster like every other demon

From the moment I saw how smoothly Stark put on his jacket in the room I knew this was gonna be insane! Kouki Fujimoto made an incredible Debut as an Episode Director with this episode. I can't believe it's his first time!

Poor Linnie, baby girl was in the trenches watching her fellows get bodied, while learning to not fall to the same fate. Only to get merked by the same thing :( but nah this show is so good with how they portray characters, like you said Main demon dude was arrogant but in a actual way it was appealing to watch him think haha.
