Takemichi Is Better Than YOU | Tokyo Revengers S3 ep 5

Never in 1 million years did I ever expect to make a video that’s pro Takamichi.

I got to admit when it comes to my rants don’t be offended because the best delivery comes when I’m unchained and just talk how I naturally think

Even though I didn’t think about it I just thought since they were adults they just lived away from each other since not all siblings are gonna be together when they’re older.

Can we all agree that it’s all these teens parents fault 😂😂😂

Exactly I love a good strong or gifted MC but that gets boring after a while.

Exactly I'm in the same mindset as you, it's actually really good writing because it's something that is so obvious and right in front of us and yet no one ask the obvious question of what is Emma doing in the future to prevent Mikey from going evil

I’ve rewatched this show like 5 times since I watch other reactors and once with my friend and I never once thought about Emma in the future 😅 I was more focused on Chifuyu,Mikey,Draken and Akkun in the future so I don’t blame him for not thinking about it plus Naoto never mentioned her death either so how was he supposed to know. He wasn’t even that close to her like the others.

The thing is Takemitchy is doing this run completely blind. It’s like giving someone a controller and telling them to play Dark Souls for the first time. Also Takemitchy is a MC I actually like. I hate it when the MC is gifted and always gets a the win. I think the MC should always take more losses because you can build them up. One of my favorite sports anime Ahiru no Sora, they don’t win at all. However, they keep getting better. Takemitchy reminds of that a lot.

Nah all my homies hate that fool.

I will say about the "real gang" bit... they've recognized themselves as a "crime syndicate". I think the show is very intentional in presenting the difference between what they are, and what Toman and the other gangs have been up to this point. For the duration of the show, I've just assumed gang culture is different in Japan than what we're familiar with.

Takemichi was a guy who was like 25 years old who gave up on life always apologizing to people and stayed home all day and lost contact with all his friends and family in the OG timeline. Takemichi is going against 6’7 fighters like Taiju and also Kisaki who was doing advance math at like 7. I can’t even be that mad at him 😂

Anthony Stone

Takemichi is the most patethic mc ive seen, dude get's beaten the fuck up all the time and then somehow get's all the credit just for being a punching bag xD

TheMonarch

If you're willing to pick it up, maybe read the manga. The manga handles a lot of moments better that they don't draw out. Sometimes it seems like the author has written things with a sense of realism that the anime dramatizes into a hero type moment that just isn't written there. Amplifies the failures, and it doesn't do a good job of keeping your perspective close to the MC's... gives you a God like view with all the information your MC doesn't have, or is just getting.

it’s funny because everyone came to the same realization that we never saw Emma in the future the same time as Takemichi. He definitely isn’t a genius and Kisaki is clearly smarter but this definitely isn’t on him.

I stopped keeping up with Tokyo revengers strictly because for me personally I couldn’t stand the mc. I found the show turning me into a hater and I had to walk away
