They actually only lost their ability to have kids. They could still perform and honestly they could last longer and satisfy more women after the surgery was done! They put wolves in with the rabbits and they loved it! 🤣

You can tell by the names, architecture, and of course the presence of concubines and eunuchs, all of which are distinctly Chinese, not Japanese.

Lot of countries in Europe use variation from Apothecary for their drugstores like in my own language "Apteekki" which in simple terms means place where drugs are manufactured and sold. But Adorkable was right in her thinking that the word is older use for pharmacist.
