2023-10-31 10:40:12 +0000 UTCHold on why are you saying he was scheming he gave Loki and sylvie a clear choice and miss minutes said the plan of getting hold of victor was only set if he who remains dies so if they would have choose to run the tva he wouldn’t have went and did any of this but sylvie choose to kill him selfishly which caused him to go back to plan a because sylvie unlike Loki can’t see the bigger picture. He didn’t show any tendencies of scheming or control and Loki through this whole season is agreeing with he who remains he just doesn’t want to fully admit it

As of yet, there has been no point to separating himself from them, or concocting the ruse of space lizards ruling them with unknowable specifications. . He can want better for a future version of himself and the TVA, and /still/ be bad by comparison. Kind of exactly how that works, he’s set himself in the role of driving all of this to happening for better /or/ worse. Point of order, he left it up to Miss Minutes and Ravonna to carry out his plan and they about sabotaged it because they don’t :know: the extent of “what he meant to do” and turned on Victor within (chronologically) a day or so of actually passing the book on to him. -While that’s not within his control, it’s something he initiated, so it ties back to him and previously-taken actions. In that regard, Miss Minutes (if these were her intended last words) meant what she said negatively, but if HWR’s plan works, hypothetically, it still reflects poorly on him as far as embracing the Heel role (being ‘worse’ in direct comparison to Timely, who he’s theoretically hoping will be ‘better’)

And he sent his guide book to a very good version of himself that trust no one and can’t be easily manipulated, is very smart, and has a good heart how is that bad he’s continuing the best cycle

He guided/paved the road for two variants of the same person to confront him, /well aware/ that at least one of them would purely be gunning for his head, and went “bet.” He also hoodwinked his own company to blindly follow “protocol” until the aforementioned ganking eventually occurred, by proxy of the betrayal he initiated at this episode’s start (beginning the habit of erasing their memories).

The first run of the loop would be OB researching stuff for a loom, finds Victor's work, builds it with future technology. Sylvie kills He who remains, the book gets given to Victor, his own ideas are supplemented with OB's idea, helps build a better loom, cycle continues, Sylvie kills HWR, Victor gets the book etc. Notice how the thing that fixes the loom is something that wasn't in the TVA Handbook.
