If you liked Season 1, I don't think you can go wrong with watching it. You mentioned that it's like 50/50 on people for or against watching it but I guarantee if you watched it those people against would still end up watching the reactions anyways haha I also never understood the people that say Missing Pieces isn't worth watching since there's no major plot but you could argue that Season 1 doesn't really have a plot either. Both seasons focus completely on character development and interactions/group chemistry which are so great in this show

2023-10-28 18:47:38 +0000 UTCMissing Pieces is wonderful (so funny and great to "spend more time" with the gang) but the non-linear storytelling confused a lot of people who were disappointed that it wasn't a continuation. For me, it was a true "slice of life" with essentially all these short snapshots of "what else happened that year" that worked perfectly because we already knew the major tentpole events (but I'm also one if those weird people who reread books and rewatch shows so...) I hope even if there is no reaction that you (or maybe just Adorkable since she really seemed to enjoy "spending time these characters") watch it on your own.

It sucks that they split it up like that, if we had 26ep in continuation it would've been much better, but I feel like if you start watching it right after regular season, it's not as hard to follow as it was for other people who waited for years :D

If not the manga is really a fun read and shows some very fun moments even Missing Pieces skips over

There is one episode dedicated to Sawada and her relationships with others. It gives more incite to her character. If you choose to cover it, I will there for it but I will not demand or expect you to.

You def got my support if you do decide to tho! If you really love the story but don’t really want to watch missing pieces I highly suggest the manga, it keeps everything chronological unlike missing pieces. They had to jump around the manga to make the story feel more coherent. Bittersweet to be at the end but so happy I got to see my fav reactors watch my fav romcom!
