But there's gotta be some progression. Slow burn don't mean just existing around each other in random scenario's that don't actually matter at all to the plot. We can go baby steps, but let there be steps.

2023-10-11 02:52:50 +0000 UTCI mean speed isnt what makes a show better. Sure, its uncommon for romcoms to have a couple this fast but that isnt the reason why Horimiya is great. Tbh Kaguya-sama is still my number 1 romcom and its entire premise is focused on two people that refused to confess to the other. It took them 3 seasons to get together and there were still issues at hand. But it works. The anime was beautifully adapted. It took the source material and made it god tier.

2023-10-11 02:37:53 +0000 UTCI wouldn't say it was a majority. They get together fairly quickly in the manga as well. I forget which chapter, but it was before half way, and the manga is only like 120 chapters.
