It's never really stated what Kyousuke does for work. Izumi does have a mental image at one point. But I imagine from his appearance and demeanor something like tuna fishing or merchant marine, which spend sometimes up to a year or more away from home port. He reminds me of an uncle or mine who was on a merchant ship.

I personally have a certain plot point I’m excited to see you react to but this whole show as a whole is just something else. I also agree with you that this shows more accurately real world relationships and tropes rather than the typical rom com personalities. Love each time these drop!

Another great reaction coming from the GOATS of romcoms. Loved y’all’s disbelief and confusion at around 18:30 when Hori said miyamura was her boyfriend. She says the right things at the right moment that cut to the core of a conversation. When hori and remi where talking she pushed hori to recognize to some degree that she liked miyamura and with sakura she just kinda cuts her of and says that her blush is cute. She might not recognizes it herself but it's a great way to keep the story going when things could possibly drag on. It keeps things going at a good pace without feeling rushed, even if it makes her look like a bad person.
