Gojou slit Geto's throat with The Inverted Spear of Heaven at the end of Zero, you can hear it though its not explicitly shown. The scene of them talking in the crowd and then walking away was a flashback from right after Rika was killed ten years before Zero.

Geto walking happens before the talk not after. Gojo does make the motion for cutting but the scene cuts away and we just hear the sound effect. its really shitty that people get on Lee for not remembering or misremembering stuff because you guys cover a ton of media so its really easy for something to get lost in the "files" of your mind. great work as usual!

Because we didn't actually see Gojo kill Geto just heard it, the actual outcome was somewhat murky until this episode

Other than that you guys were right, getou died in jjk 0, it is a offscreen death but if you rewatch the end of the movie as is coming to black you can hear gojo killing geto. Keep the good work.

I think you guys might be jumbling together the events from Premature Death (when Gojo and Geto separated on the street and Gojo couldn't kill him then) and the movie, 0 (Geto lost an arm because of Yuta, he stumbles away from that fight and meets Gojo, who speaks to him, and finishes him, off screen). But I think it was purposeful and honestly not super easy to catch on to. Like you said, it's hiding in plain sight. You'd have to go back to season 1 and see that "Geto" avoids anyone from the school (except Mechamaru which we see this season). Managaka did really good with this plot point, imo.
