The attention to detail and the backstory are really elevating it in the anime. This is the definitive version.

It also explains why he hates conflict, but at the same time how he got so desensitized to others suffering. Also, I can understand why Yhwach was happy to lose his special eyes, he said it allowed him to see his father's defiled body. Not something you can keep looking at and stay sane for a long time.

This adaptation sucks ass if they don't show the scene. I will personally hate this adaptation for as long as it exists. Taking away the amazing fan service moments from the fans is bullshit. If it isn't next episode I am gonna riot. Its legit comedy and fanservice and they are screwing us over by not showing it. Already happened once with the rukia scene

It was alright from what I seen but I just didn't care for the characters and how overplayed demon stuff is these days in manga and anime. So I just found it funny how wild the fanbase was acting. I know things here and there but gave up on JJK before season 1 even ended. I just didn't care about the series enough and haven't even bothered with season 2 lol

He was the only lower rank sternritter to get promoted. Also little fun new content that got added to the anime. Uryu used his Schrift this episode. The letter that Yhwach said he granted him. I'm a manga reader and I didn't even catch he used his power until I rewatched it. Just a hint is that Yhwach didn't leave that cage with his own power
