I know its the same actress but nothing about her features make her seem older in the present. The male actors look “aged” with being shaved, hair style or something.

All those people worked at the office that was closest to North Korea therefore anyone there could potentially be a spy for North Korea . The unfortunate thing is there could be innocent people there who just saw others not drink and decided not to . Or innocent people who were told by others . For example when those 2 guys walked in one of them knew they shouldn’t drink it ( he is probably a spy) he then told the other guy not to ( he is probably innocent because he was never informed) . However the fact that some people even listened to compromised people also makes them compromised 🤷🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️ it’s a good mission however awful .

That's why even if Guryonpo is older than Kim Doosik and Mihyun, since he is below their rank, he salutes Mihyun and calls Dooshik his boss.

Then I got deep into the parent's backstory and was enjoying it so much that when it gets back to the kids I was like wait go back to the parent's backstory.

In interviews they mentioned Mihyun's in her mid twenties, and Juwon's in his 30s at this point. They also joked about Cha Taehyun (The bus driver) playing a highschooler in ep 4, even though the actor is 47, and Ryu Seungryong (Huisoo's dad) playing a 30 something year old, while he's 52.

Ryu Seungryong (the dad) looks younger because the actor shaved in the past. Also, she was the youngest to graduate the training program of the NIS, which makes her significantly younger than someone higher up would usually be. And in terms of the translated sub, they use the term "boy" and "girl" but it's more about the conjugation of the sentences and honorifics used. A younger individual is supposed to use a respectful form call "jondet-mal" while using "Ban-mal" to someone younger or same age as them. It's the difference between "Ahnyeong hashimnika" and "Ahnyeong haseyo" and "Anyeong." Yet Mihyun used the banmal to Juwon, as if he was younger than her. Being much older than her, it ticked him off until he found out she's his senior. 55:41 Also, it's implied she's faking "losing some of her eye sight" because she saw what it meant to be a Black Ops agent and uses it as an excuse to get herself out of the program. She protected her eyes from the flashbang with her arms, and we've seen that she still has her super sight in Episode 5, and whenever she uses it, she takes her glasses off to stop the lense from refracting the light, messing up her zoom.
