2023-09-05 21:18:31 +0000 UTCTbh seems like everyone reactor understands momo, because at 8, this task they’re expecting him to do is insane, the man only just grew to the size where he can do something but he’s never even had to use his DF like this, so even though people are annoyed it’s understandable, because damn - they’re asking a lot from this kid. “Go to the future and save the island your dad couldn’t save” was wild in the first place

First they wanted him to fly and get over his fear of heights so he gets over that and takes luffy to the roof then as soon as he does they want him to slow down the island from getting to the capital so he hypes himself up and tries then midway through Yamato leaves which makes him think she thinks he can’t do it. Then he hypes himself up again and manages to slow down the island and pull it back giving Luffy more time to fight Kaido. Then after he manages to do that they want him to make new clouds using his new devil fruit to carry the island like Kaido is doing. Then he gets his flash back in the newest episode and tries to do what they want, then at the end Luffy asks him to move it now and he tells Luffy to wait I have been trying all night to make clouds I still can’t make clouds yet and luffy says he believes in him. So I think he is written in a way that even if you understand why it is supposed to make you frustrated like you said. So even though I stopped being irritated at Momo after I realized they are going to keep giving him new missions even though he can’t do them yet. People should let people react how they want, who cares if he is only eight I can see why someone would be annoyed.
