2023-08-27 19:29:27 +0000 UTCoh i see how what i wrote could be confusing, didnt mean that because he absorbed the curse he became half fallen, i wrote "after he absorbed the curse" as a time reference in the episode, thats when it was said, your description is what the subs i watched meant aswell.

In the manga there was no assault on Sindria, Sinbad just sent them all to Zagan. and towards the end of it the three dark metal vessel users are about to enter the dungeon to act as backup when they get stopped by Masrur, Shalnark (not his name but it's close enough), and Yamuraiha. And all the stuff with the organization trying to turn Alibaba into a dark king? Completely made up for the anime. And the OC is never referred to in season 2. It was likely done that way to make the anime adaptation feel a little more complete and final since they didn't know at the time they would be making a season 2.

2023-08-27 13:23:44 +0000 UTCIt doesn't matter if the edgybois were there first, as they are members of Al Tharmen, and thus unqualified to claim a Djinn (the black Rukh is the opposite of normal Rukh after all, hence why Al Tharmen uses Black Djinn that are powered by the black Rukh). This is why they use Judar to spawn Dungeon towers & have the Kou empire bois claim them, because the empire ppl are technically not Al Tharmen & thus CAN make the contract w/ a Djinn

As in the curse by Ithnan was meaningless as he was ALREADY immune to it due to this Half-Fallen state before it (he just faked being affected to motivate the gang up, obviously) Also he does clearly say "hanbun" meaning half, as in half-Fallen (hanbun datenshi), so IDK what the official subbers were on when translating that shit...
