2023-08-24 11:20:04 +0000 UTCI just hate that the world has gone in the direction where, even if the title is a joke, people have to actually be worried about being banned just for giving an opinion, and even facts in certain circumstances, like somehow people who have experienced sexual harassment and especially people that haven’t are going to be physically harmed from someone saying something on the internet. I remember when I was a kid I was taught “sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me” now it seems like everyone is being taught the opposite, it’s pathetic for people to be so affected by words from my perspective, but maybe that’s just because I was raised differently, regardless though I don’t believe a society who can’t even take criticism or talk freely will ever progress substantially again… but say what you want to say Lee, I greatly enjoy when people go out, and despite this new mentality of people banning certain things due to their fragile feelings, still say what’s on their mind, even if I don’t agree with someone I want everyone to have actual Freedom of Speech. (Ps. To random people who may disagree with me without understanding the difference between a “Call to Action” and “Free Speech” your wasting your time.)

Example, the things people say about Melania from Elden Ring or Qualaag in Dark Souls, compared to 2B or something of that sort, if it’s not one of 2023s protected classes then it will be complained about.

Lol, a gigantic majority of crimes are instigated by people who have some problems mentally, mental illness isn’t always just people who want to unalive themselves, it’s many things, some of which I can’t even say anymore. But as someone who literally works close to criminals every single day, it’s one of the first questions people ask, do they have a history of mental health issues or drug use. Your free to disagree still of course, but I’m telling you, as a random person on the internet lmao, that it is.

It's ok to not like certain things about Rudy as a character but he has developed a lot since season 1. That being said, he still has much room to grow further which is one of the highlights of this series alongside the world building. As someone mentioned "Rudy does bad things but not with malicious intent," in short he's a huge idiot. I've said it since season 1 and I said it again in this latest episode; the man is working on his common sense when it comes to social interactions/situations. I'd die on the hill defending the show up till now as god tier.

2023-08-24 01:37:18 +0000 UTCThe characters being wild and messed up at certain points is also something I see as very entertaining opposed to the perfect type of character that doesn't have flaws. Not that they can't be done well but I find way more interest in realistic flawed characters. These characters are just more flawed in more realistic ways. Its a flawed world. Just like ours has always been. People expect too much of characters in stories. If they are meant to be realistic they will naturally have slip ups and not be a fully transformed character but still as life goes on continue to be better. #homelander

Let's develop a character and have him progress and not have him continue to have issues with his character cause that totally makes sense.
