Gelli became my favorite villain because of the last two episodes. Shes the smartest of them all. I cant wait for her final fight with Hana, two beautiful women who can control anyone with their memory bending powers.

2023-08-23 02:34:11 +0000 UTCGelly for the win. That cackle makes my day. Chu and Motak's team-ups have so much fun fight choreo, and their energy and chemistry is great. Real interested in where they're going with Mun here. I also thought he sounded a bit villain-y with that "I don't need the territory" speech, and they keep mirroring him with either Ma Juseok or Pil-Gwang. It might just be a difference in writing and I'm reading too much into it. But the amount of times they're mirroring the good guys w the bad guys this season, like Ha-Na and Gelly this ep, feels intentional. Esp w Mr. Ma being right in the middle. Also, not Adorkable pointing out the crew need to step up and show Mun he doesn't need to rescue them all the time, and then this ep being them doing exactly that. I love that shot of him looking at everyone on the ground. It was subtle, but it felt like an "oh shit they can't do it, it's all on me" moment. Can't wait to see what they do in episode 9.
