2023-08-31 16:45:17 +0000 UTCthe problem was that it was basically unnecessary for the story or for rudys character. in fact it kinda goes against all the growith hes made over the past 4 or 5 years. the scene could have been slightly changed around and still have rudy seem kinda scummy but not a straight up criminal. just make the beast girls offer themselves up to rudy as they did anyway THEN he take advantage for said reason. same events, but doesnt come off as nearly as bad.

I think they just saw it as creepy that he was hauling around and praising a "doll" which isn't exactly a normal thing in this world lol. Rudy was the first to make anything like that and being that detailed and sophisticated. I sorta see why zahnoba praises rudy so much because a figurine like that is entirely new and sort of mind boggling in that world
