Movies I think twice a month would be fine or maybe 2 non anime movies and 2 anime movies. But you are making a genuine effort and that's to be respected.

I would love to see older anime since that's what I have grown up on and it would be a great nostalgia trip to watch them again. Kdrama, i have grown to love but only Comedies or RomComs. (Vincenzo FTW. ) Western Live Action shows, I just can't get into it (I tried, I always tend to drop it after a couple of episodes), either that or I'm not into the type of shows you guys watch. Last time I've watched a live action western show was Lucifer which was a while ago. Movies, 50/50. But Comedies, action comedies (Jackie Chan, Dwayne Johnson) movies always must watch for me. Older comedy actors like Martin Lawrence, Eddie Murphy as well. Others? What others are there? Maybe Donghuas (Chinese anime)? There are some good ones like King's Avatar and they 90% always go under the radar. You might need some getting used to chinese dub and they're not as good as Japanese ones. Live action anime? Most are horrible but there are some good ones like Rorouni Kenshin 1-3, Gintama.

There are some that might bring some new faces in that are still very popular despite being completed. Lucifer, Supernatural, and See are a few good ones That being said I’m mainly here for the anime content and the movies. I’m still undecided as to which K-Drama i wanna start to check out the genre

Most people don't do kdramas and it's refreshing. I love your reaction and make sure to keep to your schedule every week. It honestly makes my day. I understand expanding anime but please keep kdramas in mind. That are my heart and soul. 💚

2023-08-18 20:41:47 +0000 UTCI'm all for anime reactions, but I worry that it leads to the reactors not getting a full spectrum of media (same with anime fans in general tbh). Watching 7+ shows a week and then spending hours editing usually means watching stuff isn't your favorite way to spend free time, so what you watch here probably makes up 40-70% of what you watch overall depending on the season. It's important to change up what you watch, as it is to do with your diet or education or whatever. Just consuming the same type of thing is no good for anyone, and varying it will also broaden your horizons and skill at understanding stuff. Tl;dr: it upsets me sometimes when reactors see an anime reference something famous that the creator loves and is heavily influenced by, but aren't able to recognize it.

I don't fault you guys for liking them, nor those who enjoy those reactions, they're just not for me. I do, however, like that there's a good variety of things to watch here and that it hasn't morphed into a K-drama only channel (just as I'm sure that others are glad it isn't currently an anime only channel.) The fact that there's something here for everyone to enjoy is a good thing. One thing that I would like to see more of here is animated shows that aren't necessarily anime. Of course there's the western animation shows like Harley Quinn and Owl House, but there's also the foreign animated shows that didn't come out of Japan like Reboot and Code Lyoko (the original ones.) Of course shows like that are far and few in between these days, but it would still be nice to see here. PS the "select all that applies" doesn't seem to work on the app, as it only lets you pick just one selection.

Anyways, for me much more important is how good show is, and not what type, so I will watch good KDrama over shitty anime 9/10 times...that being said - most KDramas are shitty ones (or just not for me, I havent watched enough to judge objecticly) -Most western stuff (outside of Disney ones) is good -All movies (outside of Disney and Bollywood) were good -And animes are hit or miss. By sheer quantity od them most of things I watchd and enjoyed start to end here were animes, but there are seasons packed with bangers to the point I barely can keep up, and there are seasons where there is nothing new I want to watch

I would suggest changing prompt to something like " what content do you enjoy most" or " what type of content would you like to see more of". I realize that this seems like a petty change, but with the way ppl read and respond to surveys/polls it can make a world of difference when it comes to getting actionable feedback.
