He's doing any and every job he comes across even if it doesn't pay enough in order to rapidly build up as much word of mouth as possible and its effecting the other adventurers; meanwhile he won't even smile properly and appears to be lookin' down on everyone around him. I can see the guy being annoyed with Rudy over that.

I'm not bothered by the animation or what they drop/skip. if any Anime truly covered every single bit of content from source material, we'd not be as far along as we are now, we'd still be at where Rudy was tutoring Eris before the displacement. I'm more concerned about how honest they are to the source material for what they DO cover. (ie not changing the story). I'm only a bit mad at 8bit for what they did in Slime Season 1, they skipped the whole adventurer arc and then rushed the last few episodes. at least Mushoku isn't skipping entire arcs like that. (Hell a lot of people thought Vol 7 would be skipped, and so far, were only 1/3 of the way though Vol 7, so ha)

2023-07-17 21:40:45 +0000 UTCThe anime has toned down the gore a bit. Sara's injuries were pretty severe. She had multiple broken bones, her femur was snapped in two, frost bite all over her arms & legs. despite that, she was calm and level headed when Rudy was healing her. He actually had to make physical contact with her skin to heal the bones. Even with how much skin she was revealing, she was still calm, and mealy tried to explain how she got so beat up. the tree she was in, a treant, was basically using her as food and was sucking the life out of her. All that said just to point out how genuine her gratitude was as they were leaving the cave.

Remember he made that giant storm in episode 2 and when they got to one of the cities after they landed in the demon continent and the horse adventurer dude was pressing them and the fact they were having so much trouble adventuring at that point rudy literally was about to wipe the entire city off the map with his magic before ruijerd stepped in and handled the situation

I think it would be a disservice to skip this arc because they definitely could have. People are complaining about it not going anywhere. The point is to show rudeus progress in this type of way.
