Kdrama Proposal For Variety

Here is my plan for adding a variety of kdramas at once.
It will require flexibility when I’m trying to cover a new trending show and i’d like to work towards always incorporating an airing kdrama at all times.
If we have agreement. I’m already prepared to start Flower Of Evil, Its okay not to be okay, or Strangers From Hell.
I prefer Strangers from Hell To Post. Because it’s radically different and fits the plan of posting a variety of shows when one of the shows has a shorter run time and episode length. Goblin is airing and Uncanny 2 Begins in 2 weeks.
ALL these shows will hit patreon. I just gotta see what type of patience , flexibility and understanding I’m working with Since these episodes are sooooo long. . I’d like to offer more cuz I enjoy this genre and have nutured the community a long way from the squid games days.
I’d like for more Kdrama fans to be engaged with something they like at once and i traded out covering more western shows to accomplish this.
Now time for feedback. Lee listens. Lee has a temper sometimes 😭😭😭. But Lee listens 😂

I just recently found you on YouTube and started rewatching Goblin (one of my favorite k-dramas) and came here to watch more. I am fairly new to the k-drama world but have now switched to mostly that. I have actually never watched reactors watching tv shows and I have enjoyed your reactions (actually I am new to watching reactors and started with k-pop reactions that led me into watching k-dramas so I guess it’s a natural progression to watching k-drama reactions!).My opinion is you can’t please everyone all the time. You have a varied amount of content so there should be something for everyone. If people don’t like certain content they can choose not to watch those reactions and just watch the ones they do like. I am not an anime person myself but that doesn’t mean I don’t feel I don’t get value for my subscription as I can watch your k-drama reactions.

Personally I am not big on western shows mostly because they have so many seasons they lose the plot. A variety of different type of kdrama is great idea. I hope you react to some comedies like Welcome to Waikiki for instance. Also it’s not cool for ppl to demand things or leave that’s ridiculous. If you’d not like something you can leave without make so much noise on your way out. I have a feeling I’ll probably stick with y’all since I even joined at the end of the month 🤣

2023-07-13 12:58:50 +0000 UTCJust to be clear. We still cover westerns and plan to. But I’m avoiding old live actions where i have to start from season 1. With not guarantee of commitment. We will cover ones that return like the witcher and ones that pop up and are good. I’m specifically avoiding having to go back and watch 36 1hr episodes rolling a dice on audience support. Lol. I will still look to cover a Show like Beef 10 episodes. Boom Wednesday 10 episodes boom. Sand man 11 episode boom. And whatever is around the corner We also will keep doing movies mostly in dub. 2 a month at this rate

I started following you for Black Clover reactions- back when I was working from home and could take my time with things or have the dubbed version playing alongside you if I had to speed my work up. Now I’m back in the office and still watch you but I can only do it if it’s a show I can understand while working without the need to look away. Focusing more on Kdramas means in all likelihood I’m not going to get that. So I opted out. I’ve no problem with Kdramas themselves - if they’re good that is, some of these popular ones did have me wondering if people’s tastes were on crack - but I’m not spending my non work hours watching them. I get what you’re saying and I definitely want the best for you and the gang but I’m not going to stick around if I’m not getting value back ya know? I’ll still watch your western stuff at work on YouTube though when they pop up. :) -T

Just don't watch the reaction and move on, lol. There are some reactions I don't watch cause I'm not interested in the show or anime, but I watch other reactions and move on. It's not that hard. Lee tries to please the community as much as he can, but he also has to think of the majority, so I understand him. There are so many great western shows that you guys could react to, but all in due time of course (:

2023-07-13 11:41:52 +0000 UTCI was thinking to prevent burnout or get desensitized since kdrama are so heavy on the sad parts sometimes you might want to add a kcomedy movie in between there are many funny SKorean movies that will definitely be great as palate cleansers. Just a thought

When it comes to kdrama even if I’m not feeling a particular kdrama or it not the type I usually watch I will still watch it with someone and I will stick around until a reactor watches ones I like or have t watch but am interested in. I think this happens because kdramas are short and so the cycle of watching something I don’t particularly like is shorter but with western shows who don’t know when to just end has multiple seasons with 20 on average episodes in each I’m waiting much longer to see what I want a reactor to watch. So I really like the direction your going and I like the transparency you have and the clear boundaries you set.

Besides I’m in heaven right now I remember when this channel only did one kdrama (Vincenzo days) with massive breaks in between so all this changes are music to my ears. I still stay back then because I also like the live action happening at the time too. Not to mention you guys are hilarious af. Now I feel there is so much variety because of my fellow kdrama watchers so I’m grateful we get a bit of everything. Do YOU always and truly thank you 🙏🙏🙏

I watch everything so it's a win win situation for me. Also everybody should have something to watch with the 2 show variety idea. Nice.

And yeah I'm sure kdrama fans will stick around. Like I didn't finish Strangers from Hell and never saw Flower of Evil but since you guys will be I'd watch along.

I've always been off and on with my love for anime but I've never had that really with kdramas so ill be here watching with you guys and I hope you enjoy the journey.
