There is a correlation to the exposure of YouTube and patreon. Basically youtube is the advertising player for patreon. I was covering goblin the k drama for weeks and announcing on community post. But got the spike in patreons only after posting the series.

Episode 1 is always THE most watched video of ANY series. Excluding ep.19 of demon slayer levels of hype, ep.1 always determines the views thereafter. I think patreon NEEDS to be the focus, become the money us direct, and even if people fall off, they will eventually return to finish the series, at SOME point. I say EXPAND your patreon inventory as much as possible, because the people who really need a reaction will always be there. Niche might not hit on YT, but it will get you hard-core Patrons everytime. Once yall start doing movies with more regularity, that will help spike production as well. I have been planning a reaction channel for 3 years now, and I thought it was funny to hear Lee's analysis on the viewership 😆
