Fun fact, the first chapter of the manga is actually the story between Aladdin and those 2 girls, the anime decided to replace them with alibaba for the sake of time but a lot of things carried over and yeah Directors memory got the better of him there because we'd never seen those girls in the anime before this ep. The girls he was talking were strippers

Alladin said in this episode the he met the caravan girls before he got to Qishan where he met Alibaba, so they were literally just part of the prologue before the show.
